"This dress is cute."

"I don't like it. It's too shiny. And too long."

"I don't understand why you have to wear a dress."

"Because it's dinner."

"Oh, I forgot, you are the fashionable twin. My bad."

She giggles and enters the dressing room again.

"So, between you and Ethan..." I say and her head pops from behind the curtain.

"What?"

"Is there something you'd like to tell me?"

"Nope. We're only friends. I mean, not even friends. He saved me yesterday, so I helped him leave the field safely."

"But, why did he do that?"

"I don't know. Ask him." I roll my eyes.

Saturday

"Kids, are you ready?"

My mom actually took a free day. For a stupid dinner, that has no purpose, only to torture me and Chelsea.

I check my outfit for the last time in the mirror, then grab my phone. I leave my room and walk down the stairs. My mom is wearing a simple black dress. Chelsea is wearing the red dress she bought yesterday. If you ask me, I think she chose this color for Ethan, but it's none of my business.

"Mom, is it okay if Chelsea and I go with my car?"

"Uhm... Fine. But, please, be there on time."

"Thanks, mom!"

I hug her, then grab my keys from the counter. I drag my sister outside and enter in the car. I search one of my CDs, then play it.

"Really? Blurryface? Now?"

"What? It's a good album."

"I didn't say it's not."

I turn the engine on, then start driving to their house. Our parents arrive before us. I park my car next to theirs. I exit and lock it. Chelsea follows me really close. I knock at the door and wait.

"Hello!"

Lisa hugs us both, then invites us inside.

"We're sorry we're late."

"It's alright. Your parents and Jeremy have just arrived."

We enter the living room. I see that my family, and their family, are both here. My parents are talking to Sean, and Jeremy to the twins.

Grayson wears black ripped jeans and a black t-shirt. Pretty simple. Instead, Ethan wears blue jeans and a maroon sweatshirt.

When Sean sees us, he comes and hugs us. It's been a while since we last had seen him. Until now, I didn't realize how much I missed the Dolans. Not Ethan and Grayson. Only their parents. And Cameron. Sadly, she's not here.
