Spilting up

2 weeks later:

Lizzie P.O.V:

I lay in bed thinking about when the school would re-open, when suddenly i heard a ping. I rolled over onto my side and looked at my phone. 

"GIRLS SCHOOL! WHAT ON THE EARTH?!" i yelled.

My skin went extremely pale and i looked like i was going to be sick. The school had emailed me and said that all girls would be transferring to Savannah High for girls. But if i transferred to girls school, i'd never see Hunter again. My heart dropped. What about conner and Levi! I can't do this. Not in 1 million years. I quickly sent a text to everyone to arrange a meet up. I ran over to my closet, and dragged out an old christmas jumper along with some jeans. 

"Ugh, 6:40pm there's no way i'm going to be able to sneak out of the house!" i sighed.

I looked around the room. 

"Hm, maybe i could fit through the window" i said, while trying to measure with my hands to see if it would be big enough for me to fit through.

I looked down and realised how big of a fall it'd be if i slipped.

I groaned and walked out of my room. I looked around the hallway to check if anyone was coming. No sound. I carefully tiptoed down the stairs trying my hardest not to make any noise. If there was one squeak, I'd be in for it. I lifted the latch on the front door and twisted the key. 

*Click*

As i gently pulled the door open, I felt a tug on my jeans. I looked down and saw my little sister. I carefully lifted her up and moved her away from the door. I planted a kiss on her forehead and slipped out the door. 

"Phew, that was close" i whispered to myself, before pulling the door shut.

The freezing night air blew across my face. As i walked, i could see my breath and sky slowly get darker and darker. I walked around the corner and saw 6 faces looking in my direction. The faces were hard to make out at first, but as i got closer i realised that they were all of my friends.

"Hey guys, sorry i took such a long time" i said apologetically.

I turned to Conner.

"Conner, what is this son of a bitch doing here?" i yelled while pointing to Jem.

"Listen Lizzie, i could care less if you two were about to destroy each other but Jem's a part of this friendship group whether you like it or not." he said while face palming himself.

Without giving me a chance to respond to Conner, Jem hugged me.

"I'm so sorry Liz, i never meant to hurt you and you know i wouldn't let a guy get inbetween our friendship, i'm so sorry" she blurted out.

I could see that she was being sincere, so i hugged her back. 

"It's okay, i could never truly stay mad at you either" i whispered into her ear.

Louisa P.O.V:

"Break it up, break it up" I laughed while pulling Jem and Lizzie apart.

We all laughed for about a minute and then stopped.

"What'd you call us out here for again?" i asked.

Lizzie went silent.

"We're...." she said,before taking a deep breath.

"We're going to be spilt up, all girls are transferring to a random girls school its about an hour or two away from here and all the boys are going somewhere else" she sighed before bursting into tears.

I felt my heart drop. 

"THEY CAN'T DO THAT" I shouted.

"Actually they can, as long as our school isn't suitable for us students then they have the authority to send us some place else" said hannah while staring at the ground.

My vision went blurry as my eyes filled up with tears. I really didn't want to have to leave as i hadn't even confessed my love to Jonah yet... I mean i'm not trying to step on hannah's toes but i can't help that i like him. He's just so darn cute, I mean he's alright. And, i'd gotten used to the school i didn't wanna have to start in a stupid posh school for spoiled rich brats. 

I looked over at Conner, he wasn't saying anything. 

"Conner what about you and Alexis she's getting out of hospital next week, you know right when start for our new schools" I said, still looking at him.

He stared at me with a blank expression on his face.

"Conner?" i asked, waving my hand infront of his face.

"HELLO?! BOY FOR GOODNESS SAKE YOUR GOING TO BE IN A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SCHOOL FROM YOUR GIRLFRIEND, DON'T YOU CARE?!" I yelled out in fustration.

"OFCOURSE I FUCKING CARE, NOT THAT IT WOULD'VE MATTERED ANYWAYS BECAUSE I'M FUCKING MOVING 100 MILES AWAY FROM ALL OF YOU!" he shouted and with that he stormed off.

"Conner wait!" I called back after him, but it was to late.

"Ugh, fuck this, fuck everything" I screamed, stamping my foot on the floor like a three year old with a tantrum.

"Oh shutup Louisa, he'll be fine by tomorrow morning trust me" said Hannah rolling her eyes.

"Yeah thats true...but maybe you shouldn't have yelled at him like that" mumbled Jem.

"Just call him later an apologise" Lizzie sighed.

"Well guys...i'm gonna get going now" i said before turning around and walking away.

Hannah P.O.V:

I looked at Louisa as she walked away. I couldn't help but feel extremely bad. I know she didn't mean to hurt conner's feelings but i don't agree with the way she lashed out on him. Its not like im going to say it to her face though, as im not going to become the next Jem vs Lizzie.

I turned back around.

"Guys, did you know that Conner was leaving?" I asked.

Everyone shook their heads.

"I wonder why he didn't just tell us..." said Tamica.

"OMG! THE FIRST WORDS TAM HAS SAID ALL NIGHT" laughed Jem.

"Lol but seriously, why didn't he tell us?" she said while trying to stop laughing.

"Maybe, he was afraid" said Lizzie, while looking down at her shoes.

"Yeah, he probably didn't want us to get upset" I sighed.

Our laughs all turned to sad faces.

"It's getting late guys, maybe we should all head home now" Said Jem.

"yeah, night guys" said Tamica before waving goodbye.

"Laters" said Lizzie and Jem before sprinting down the road.

I looked up at stars and smiled to myself before walking off into the distance.
