Fixing Friendships

Alexis P.O.V:

I ran all the way home, not looking back to see if Conner had followed me. I wouldn't have cared if he had, I never want to see him ever again. Is this why everyone avoided talking about him? Is that why Jem, Hannah and Tamica had gone quiet earlier?
I ran inside of my house and slammed the door behind me.

Daniel stared at me from the bottom of the stairs. 

"Oh my god, do you have to be so loud?" He grumbled while rubbing his eyes.

I pushed him out of my way and stormed up the stairs into my bedroom. I collapsed onto the bed, my eyes filled with tears.

"How could he do that to me?" I thought to myself.

I laid there for the rest of the night and cried myself to sleep.

In the morning, I woke up to my eyes being red and sore from the night before. It was a Tuesday so I couldn't avoid school and forced myself to get up. I dragged on the same itchy jumper and dark blue blazer along with my trousers. I wasn't in the mood to speak to anyone, so i grabbed my phone and left without making a sound. As I walked down the road I realised I had forgotten to brush my hair or even eat for that matter, but I wasn't about to turn back. I entered through the gates and Jem, Liane, Serena, Lizzie and Tia ran up to me.

Jem P.O.V:

Alexis looked a mess and I could tell by her face she had been crying and was pissed off.

"Are you okay?" I asked trying my best to smile at her.

She didn't answer.

"Come here" Tia said dragging Alexis away over to the bench.

Me, Liz, and Liane all looked at eachother. Tia had only met Alex yesterday and was already having one on one conversations with her.

Tia P.O.V:

"Okay, I know you don't know me very well but you can tell me what's wrong. I'm not about to let you go on moping around the halls all day" I said putting my arm around her.

Alexis Sighed.

"I'll listen, trust me" I softly proclaimed.

"I got dumped last night..." She whispered.

I gave her a hug and she smiled at me.

Alexis P.O.V:

Something about Tia instantly changed my mood but I didn't know what it was.

"Do you feel any better now?" Said Tia

"Yeah, let's go back to the others" I laughed grabbing her hand and pulling her towards the group.

"Wow Tia, she's all smiley again you must be magic" laughed Serena.

"Shutup!" I giggled.

We all laughed and walked inside.

Lizzie and Tia gave each other death stares as everyone else smiled.

Lizzie P.O.V:

"Okay Liz and Tia when are you gonna start getting along?" Asked Jem.

I shot her a dirty look.

"Aight, I was just saying" Jem exclaimed.

"It's not my fault she doesn't like me" said Tia.

"You know exactly what you did" I shot back.

Liane held onto Tia.

"Yeah and I apologized for it so many times, if you can't let that stupid thing go then I can't force you to forgive me" she said before turning and walking down the hall.

Alexis followed her.

"What exactly did she do?" asked Louisa.

"She liked the same boy I did" Liz mumbled.

Liane kissed her teeth and walked down the hall.

*Bell rings*

Jem P.O.V:

A BOY!!! LIKE SERIOUSLY. It's basically a repeat of Levi- Never thought I'd catch myself saying his name again.

I walked into home economics and sat down next to Hannah so I could explain what had just happened.

Hannah P.O.V:

"A GUY?!!! A GUYYYYYYY?!" I yelled.

"Exactly!!! The guys arent even here!" Jem said.

"Okay, the main thing is, how are we going to get them to become friends again?"  I muttered quietly.

"We'll do it at lunch" Jem whispered.

I nodded.

Talking about the guys reminded me of Jonah. Thing is I hadn't told anyone but we'd actually begun to date after exchanging numbers but ever since the fire, we'd stopped talking altogether...some sort of relationship that is. Anyways I didn't want to tell the others especially after all the drama it caused between me and Louisa so I wasn't about to start now.

I took out my phone and texted him under the table.

"Meet me at my house at 5?"
Sent.

I continued on with my work until lunch.

*Lunch Time*

Tia P.O.V:

I stood outside of the classroom waiting for Alex. We'd actually become good friends throughout the day, so I wanted to have lunch with her.

"Ready?" I asked standing by the door.

She smiled and we walked into the playground.

Outside I saw Liane, Tamica, Lizzie, Hannah and Jem by the table.

Hannah P.O.V:

"How are we gonna do this?" I whispered to Jem.

"Watch this!" She exclaimed and dragged Tia towards Lizzie.

"Before you two say anything, Tia has already apologized for this guy so many of times, now you can't continue to hold a grudge against her especially when there aren't even guys here" Jem said looking at each of them with a stern look on her face.

"Okay fine" Lizzie said holding out her hand for Tia to shake.

Instead Tia hugged her.

I took out my phone to see a message from Jonah.

"Sure :)"
As I read the message my face started to get hot.

*Bell rings*

We all talked as we began to walk back inside.
