Three months later...
Channel 2-
"Today marks the third month that Stephanie Bell and Demi Lovato have ended!!"
Channel 7-
"I can't believe semi's over! I shipped them so hard!"
Channel 11-
"I just don't understand how two people that are in love and get engage just break everything off in thin air."
"I do, clearly it wasn't real!"
Channel 13-
"Question is was semi even real?"
Channel 24-
"Hey! Since Stephanie's single now think she'll want to give me a chance or is it too soon"
Channel 45-
"Besides all the gossip around semi, can we please just talk about how they both went completely missing. It's been three months and there is still no sign of both girls. Where are they now?"
Ashlyn turned the tv off annoyed but mainly hurt. It had been three months and Stephanie still had not returned any of her calls since that night. It wasn't just Ashlyn, Stephanie seemed to just completely ignore everyone.
Three months without seeing her cousin, three months without any sign of her existence. It was almost like she had left earth and went into another planet.
The house had been filled with sadness left and right, everyone wasn't the same without Stephanie, she was in fact the life of the house. Now without her everyone didn't find a reason to laugh and joke around.
Why? Was the only word that ran through everyone's head, especially Ashlyn and Melanie.
How could she just leave without saying where she was going and with who. All everyone needed at this point was a simple call saying she was okay and she was on her way home.
There were days were everyone would get a private call, the caller never spoke, but the girls knew it was Stephanie or at least they hopped it was.
'Stephanie please come home' Was what they always said before the call was ended.
Ashlyn shook her thoughts and grabbed a beer before making her way out the pool house. She sat by the pool with her shoes off and toes in the water. Returning from her night job, bring a construction worker she had insane hours like 8pm to 10am but today her coworkers had called it a night earlier then before, 4:47am her watch read. She sighed and took a mouth full on beer and drank it without tasting it. She sat the beer down next to her and looking into the glowing pool, "Where are you loser?" She whispered.
"Baby" she heard a tired voice call, turned to her left she noticed Normani standing there rubbing sleep off her eyes in her sleeping shorts and Ashlyn's oversized work shirt, clean of course. She smiled at her girlfriend, she had told her multiple times to not wait up for her but Normani never listened. Ashlyn waved her over and Normani followed, Ashlyn pulled her into her lap and smiled as Normani cuddled deeper into her.
"I told you not to wait up baby"
"I know but the beds cold without you" Normani said facing her girlfriend. She noticed Ashlyn's serious personna and knew what she was thinking of.
"Babe she's fine."
"Don't. You don't know that! No one knows that!" Ashlyn yelled out in frustration. Normani worried about her girlfriend, Stephanie not being here is extremely hard on her. Normani only wish she could bring Stephanie back just so her girlfriend could relax and not overthink anymore.
