Demi's POV
"No no no" I shook my head at Marissa. She glared at me before standing up and walking over to my son.
"Hey buddy, you did real amazing. How about we go for some ice cream?" I watched my son face lit up completely knowing there wasn't a possibility of change his mind now.
"YES PLEASE!" I couldn't help but smile at his enthusiasm over ice cream. It was his favorite besides pizza of course.
"Okay go ask your mommy" Marissa couldn't finish her sentence as Noah was by my feet as soon as she said ask.
"MOMMY!!! AUNT MAR GO TO ICE CREAM!! PLEASE!" I shook my head laughing causing him to pull my shirt for my attention along with making his best big puppy eyes.
"Okay but only if you give me my goodbye kiss and hug" he quickly held onto my knees and kissed my knee cutely before running off with mar and her daughter.
"Hey Dems. Take sometime to yourself. We'll be back after the park." I nodded thanking mar.
I walked down the stairs into the basement and started playing piano.
I might have given up singing but not writing, I feel as I could never. Writing is my only escape from my real life and into another one where all of my dreams come true.
"I've been thinking about the future" I started, that's all I've can get. I tried multiple things but I just can't seem to find what I'm looking for. Yet.
I came up with the perfect song beat without the lyrics...
I seriously need to get back on it.
There's days where I think of just coming back out and making an album but who would listen to someone who washed out and is an nobody now.
I also think about the reaction Noah might have. He's so used to living the way it is now, can I really take that alway.
What if it works out but there's a tour.
What then. How can I watch my son. How could he adjust to it all...
Without me realizing it was almost 8pm. I walked upstairs somewhat hoping my son was back and sleeping in his bed.
To my disappointment he wasn't.
There was a knock at my door that caught my attention, I walked over already wearing a smile thinking that is my little baby.
"Hey Marissa said you might be here" my smile dropped and was replaced with a small one.
"Nick" he observed my figures before handing me a box of what looked like chocolates.
"I got you these. I'm not sure if you're allergic or anything. At least I hope you're not" he smiled nervously.
"I'm not. Thank you." I said closing the door behind me.
Maybe I shouldn't have done that.
Oh well.
"Sorry I just really like you! You make me all nervous and I don't know how to act around you!" I can't say that didn't make me smile because it did.
I sighed before opening the door once again.
"Thank you" he left out a sigh before giving me his cute shy smile. "Can we start over?" I nodded this time opening my door wider and letting him in.
What can I say. He has been nothing but an amazing support system for me after moving to town. He know who I was and never treated me different. And he was great with Noah.
