Halsey POV
"Baby?" I questioned walking through the house. After not feeling her body heat this morning I knew she was gone.
It wasn't strange, it was pretty normal for her.
She would sometimes be down in the studio writing or simply making beats. Music never had a break in her head. She has a way of shutting everything off and locking herself downstairs, just to write. It sometimes scared me. She didn't really take a break.
Sighing, I stood up putting off the bed sheets due to the last night events and fixed the bed. I covered my naked body with a new pair of underwear and Stephanie's pale white shirts.
Making my way down stairs I noticed a few beer bottles laying around. Once picking them up, I made my way downstairs to the basement.
I heard loud music as I got closer, knowing she would probably be expecting me by now. I decided to lose my underwear and walk in.
Little did I know she would have one of her new artists over recording a song.
"Oh shit" I yelled before running out the door. I could hear the music stop and Stephanie's loud laughter following behind.
I rolled my eyes before putting my underwear back on. I sighed just as Stephanie opened the door with a big grin on her face.
"You ass" I hissed. She giggled before pulling me into a huge hug.
"She didn't see you babe." I sighed in relief. "But I sure did see your sexy ass" she smirked moving closer to me.
"No" I push her by her chest back. "You left again without a kiss" she frown making me easily forgive her. She smiled as my mood changed right away.
I started walking away as she quickly picked me up and walked over to the coach, where we made love until the new artist was done recording their new album.
That's pretty much how our day went.
Demi's POV
"Mommy" I was awaken by Noah. I rolled out of bed following his voice. "Mommy!" I heard louder. Not opening my eyes yet I somehow walked into his room. "Mommy wake up!" He yelled again this time laughing. Most likely due to the fact I have my eyes closed.
"Yes Noah" I whispered. Just before opening my eyes. He held my phone up that displayed an old picture of Stephanie and I.
I quickly took it away before he saw anything else. I couldn't before he had seen it and I know the questions where going to come in any time soon.
"What did I tell you about using my phone Noah"
"Mommy I know but I just wanted to call Steph" suddenly all my anger was replaced with confusion.
"Why Stephanie?" He looked up at me, thinking of what exactly to say. I watched him put his head down as tears fell slowly.
"Because she's just like me. She's my friend. She told me to call her whenever I felt like talking to someone. And I really really really miss her mommy"
"Noah it's only been one day"
"And I want her back!" He yelled as more tears followed. I sigh before looking through my phone. There were so many pictures of Stephanie and I, that Noah would've found out sooner or later.
"Okay Noah, lets see if she can talk right now" I told him before walking out the room and hearing him cheer loudly.
I look at the number holding it to call but to my surprise it was already calling me.
"Hello" I answered. I heard her breathe slowly before replying with a cheerful but quiet hey.
"How's Noah?" She followed when I didn't say anything.
"He's fine. Missing you actually" I heard her sighed.
"I miss him as well"
It went silent for a moment until she finally spoke again.
"I was actually thinking he could come over for a few days. I mean. I know it sounds weird since I just met him but something about him makes me want to be there. You know? Um I just want to help out as much as I can. If it's okay with you, I would like for you both to move in with me."
"Stephanie"
"I mean, I can definitely fix up a room for him with every single thing he could possibly need. And maybe you can actually get back into music since we both know that part of you is never going to go away."
"Steph"
"Can you imagine that! It would be so amazing for Noah. He could grow up with Mia and Maya daughter. And Ashlyn and Normani are expecting a baby boy! He could look after his baby cousin!!"
"STEPHANIE BELL!" I yelled finally getting her attention.
"Yeah"
"Noah isn't ready for that. He's not in the frame life. No one knows he's mine and to be honest with you I want to keep it that way. That world isn't a world for a kid like Noah. I want him to grow up different without all that pressure."
"I'm sorry"
"You don't have to say it."
"But I do. Tell Noah I said take care. Goodbye Demetria" the called ended.
And after that we didn't hear about her for a while. Reason why I would never trust what she would say ever again...
