It was early in the morning when i awoke and noticed the empty spot next to me. I look around trying to see if there was any sight of steph but to my disappointment there wasn't any. I pulled the covers off before standing up and walking over to my dresser. I putted out one of steph's boxers along with her old t-shirt before walking down stairs.
My nose was greeted with the comforting aromatic smell of coffee. Boy was that the most delightful way to wake up this morning. I honestly haven't remember the last time I actually had a cup of black simple coffee. Stephanie didn't like it one bit so that might of been the reason for not having it.
"Good morning Miss soon-to-be Bell" I heard someone announced. I smiled at Ally's comment before answering.
"Good morning miss sunshine" she smiled back handing me a cup of coffee. I took it out of her hands and held it up to my face, I took in the intoxicating smell then took a sip. I sighed in relief at the familiar taste, a smile appeared on my face at the thought of my mothers black coffee early in the morning when she would wake me up with a cup while visiting her.
Speaking of her, I definitely should call her later to see how everything is.
"Hey have you seen steph?" I suddenly asked remembering the real reason why I came downstairs.
"I haven't seen her" I guess Ally noticed my worried face cause then she said, "Don't worry she's probably out for a run or something" I nodded hoping it was nothing to worry about.
I took a seat on the kitchen counter next to Ally, it was then that I noticed she was in deep thought. We shared silence for a few minutes before we heard the front door open.
From the kitchen we couldn't see who exactly it was due to the wall that divided the living room and the kitchen.
We heard steps before we saw Melanie and Lauren. Both Ally and I raised an eyebrow in confusion. Lauren eyes widen at the sight of us sitting there, I guess she was hoping no one would see them. I turned to Melanie who had a dark colored spot, more like a hickey... It was then that I noticed three smaller ones on Lauren's neck.
Both Ally and I turned to each other before taking a slip of our coffee.
"Uh- where's- uh. Demi where's my sister?" Melanie hesitated to ask.
"I don't know." I stated before standing up and placing my empty cup in the sink. Everyone watched as I grabbed an apple and walked into the living room.
I had just sat down on the couch when I heard giggling come up from the basement. I turned to the sound, Selena was the one laughing with Stephanie smiling big behind her. I wanted more than anything to throw my apple at Selena but I let it go. Stephanie couldn't know, she can never know...
It was then that something clicked in me, I'm pretty sure I had turned red and smoke coming out my ears. I quickly ran over to Stephanie and attacked her lips with mine. She was taking by surprise but quickly held onto my waist as she kissed me back.
I watched Selena smile sadly before walking away. I pulled back and noticed Stephanie's confused look. "I missed you this morning baby, you left me alone" yeah that will do.
"Sorry baby I had to work on Selena song" I nodded understanding before pulling her from behind her neck for another kiss or two.
"Anyway. Melanie was looking for you." I pushed on her chest, which I knew was a turn on for her. She smirked before grabbing my ass harshly and pulling in me for a kiss.
She pulled back smirking. I watch her walk into the kitchen. Ally then speeded out that kitchen, she gave me a nod in which we both ran outside to be as far away from Stephanie and Melanie.
Stephanie is extremely overprotective of Melanie and the second she realizes the marks on her and Lauren's neck all hell will break lose. Knowing my girlfriend, it won't take long for her to notice something's up.
Stephanie's POV
The second I walked into the kitchen, I noticed Melanie and Lauren siting next to each other on the table. I wised my eyebrow, I know where this is going and to be honest I don't like it one bit.
"You asked-" I stopped. I couldn't keep going after I saw both Lauren and Melanie's neck.
Both girls noticed, the shared a scared look before standing up. I stopped Melanie from making a run for it and sat her down. I faced Lauren, holding up five fingers she understood what I meant. Without even looking at me she pulled Melanie in for a kiss before running off. When she was gone completely I sat down next to Melanie.
"Why?" I asked. She shrugged. "I thought you ended things right when 'camren' happened"
"I did. But." She stops.
"But?" I helped her continue.
"I don't know. We loved each other Steph. We both make it work in our own way. She's not with Camila by the way. Camila into someone else and Lauren was trying to help in several situations with a partner."
"Bullshit!"
"I know, I thought the same thing. She's been helping out Stephanie. When I'm with her I don't feel the need to drink or smoke any kinda of substance."
All I can do was simply nodded. Melanie gave me a smile before pulling me into her arms. I hugged her back just as tightly then let her go, when Lauren stepped back into the kitchen.
She was just about to run off again when I stopped her. "If your going to be with her, you best treat her the way she should be treated. Or else you'll have to face up with me" she nodded.
"Good now, go see if Isabel and Maya need help with the baby" they nodded, and were off together holding hands the whole way there.
"Hey steph" I turned back to follow the voice and found Halsey.
"Hey Ashley"
"Please don't I hate my real name" I laughed.
"Since when I called you that just yesterday"
"I wasn't trying to be mean. It's cute when you say it but I honestly don't like it"
"Understood"
I looked back outside, Demi and Selena were actually speaking to other. I was shocked but happy that they were getting along until I saw where Selena hand was actually placed on Demi. Selena was standing there with her hand on my girls ass and Demi simply let her.
"Oh no. Trouble in semi land" Halsey said after watching them as well.
"No it's not that-" I stopped just as the door bell went off, 'saved by the bell' I thought. I walked over to the door to opened it and when I did I was met the girl I fell in love with and thought I would never see again.
