I laughed as i jumped up on, Eli’s back and ruffled his hair as i wrapped my arms around his neck. “PIGGYBACK RIDE!!” I yelled whispered in his ear. He just laughed and wrapped his arms around my legs and started walking to the kitchen.
“Where is everybody..?” Michael asked as he walked to the fridge. “Uhh my mom and Aunt Rachel took all the kids somewhere so we could hang out and catch up” I said as i jumped off of Eli’s back. “Ohh, well i'm starving. Renee can you cook for meeeee..?” Michael whined. I giggled and rolled my eyes. Yep sure have missed these guys.
“God, michael you just reminded me of my friend Rachelle. Except she waits til 3 in the morning to decide she hungry.” I laughed as i shook my head. “But yes ill cook for you” I walked to the fridge and got some eggs then to the cabinets to find the bread, salt and pepper. Once i finally found everything i needed i walked to the stove and started to cook when my phone started vibrating again. Oh shit i forgot to call Rachelle back well my as well talk to her now.
“Hey Michael, would you please watch this while i answer this really quick.” i asked while pointing to the french toast. “uhh sure Renee, i'll try” i smiled as i answered the phone.
“Aye, beautiful” I smiled as i heard Rachelle about to yell at me.
“Don't you aye beautiful me!! You promised you'd call me Renee” Rachelle whined
I couldn't help but giggle. “Yes yes i know sorry, they asked me to cook for them so i started to make french toast before they decided to eat me. So what is so important that you couldn’t wait..?” i laughed as i heard her take in a deep breath. oh great this is gonna take forever my as well grab a bag of popcorn a comfy seat and blanket and just lay here listening to her.
I giggled as i heard her sigh for the millionth time in the 3 minute phone call.
“Ok well you see, you remember how i told you how Stephen said he was going to try to come down here for my birthday…?” my smile disappeared instantly but sighed and answered her.
“Yes you've told me a thousand times dear” i giggled as i heard her say “yea yea yea, well he is ACTUALLY coming down RENEE!! he is he is. His mom helped him out with getting a plane ticket and gave him some money for a hotel and food. Oh god Renee i cant wait to see him! You know that though…..”
Blah Blah i couldn't think straight. Great now i have to listen to someone i love, talk and squeal about how the person she loves is finally coming down and meeting her for the first time. Man if i ever had a regret it would be that i haven't came out as lesbian yet. I mean you would think i would, especially after she told me she had a crush on me. Man i was so happy to know that she had the same feeling for me as i did her. But my damn mouth wouldn't open up and tell her how i felt about her. Cause nows its to late, now she has someone else to love her, to protect her thats not me. I sighed as i heard Rachelle screaming my name oh yea i was on the phone with her...uhh whats that smell..?
I turned around and saw smoke coming from the kitchen and Eli and Michael slapping at the stove with towel. “SHIT, hey rachelle i gotta go before michael and eli burn the house down! bye love ya” i yelled as i ended the call and ran to the kitchen. Glad to see it was a small fire so i could just pour salt on it. As i ran to to grab the salt i saw Michael blowing on the fire i couldn't help but to giggle. I ran to the fire and poured the salt on it, once the fire was out we all stud there staring at the stove as if it was going to catch fire again. After 2 minutes have passed i looked up at michael and eli and busted out laughing.
“D..D..Did Y..Y..You really think t..t..that blowing on the f..f..fire would..h..h..help” i asked in between breaths as i literally rolled on the floor laughing. Within seconds i heard, Michael bust out laughing and shaking his head yes. Before we knew it we were all laying on the floor clutching our stomachs laughing.
