“Rachelle, calm down it wont happen again. I promise, hey im getting off the plane and about to surprise my cousin. And hopefully she will be the only person i surprise.” Well her and Avery, but Rachelle doesn’t need to know that she’ll get pissed. Which i don’t want that i came to spend time with my Cousin and coughboyfriendcough, and i don’t need her to ruin that. “Yes, Rachelle my cousin the one that got put in a foster home, where they beat and rape her. Rachelle ive already told you, ive tried getting her away from there but there is no proof” i rolled my eyes as Rachelle started to go off again. Damn she never shuts up.
That is why i love Avery, he’s sweet and lets me talk when its my turn. I smiled thinking about the expression on his face when he sees me. God ive missed him, oh right im on the phone with Rachelle. “Hey, Rachelle i gotta go, bye.” I quickly hung up before i had to lie and say i love you. I grabbed my bags and headed to the taxi that was waiting for me when my phone beeped.
“Walter. ~Avery”
No, i thought i got rid of him for sure. I threw all my bags in the trunck and yelled at the taxi driver to hurry. All i could think about on the way to Roses house was, all the ways i could kill Walter and Sherry and make them pay for what they did to Rose. And hoping Avery didn’t do anything stupid and is ok. I sighed as i remembered he kept his promise about texting me “walter” everytime he was around rose, so i can call my uncle there and he can stop it.
I really can’t thank Avery enough for all the things he does for Rose. I bet if it wasn’t for Avery, Rose would’ve killed her self already. I frowned just thinking about a life without Rose it would be unbearable. She’s the only one i have left...even though she thinks shes my cousin. Shes actually my sister and our parents died saving us from a gang that attacked us. Rose was just 4 years old and i was only 6, hiding us out in our tree house in the woods where the gang wouldn’t find us. I made a promise to my parents that i would keep Rose safe and i plan to keep that promise.
After about 30 minutes of driving we finally made it to Roses house when i saw Walter stroking Avery’s face while Sherry held Rose by the hair with a shotgun to her head. I took off running behind the house and grabbed a rock and busted the back window. After two minutes i saw Sherry dragging rose by the hair around the corner, when i knocked sherry out. Then saw Rose take off toward the front of the house again, when i grabbed her wrist and put a finger to my lips to tell her to be quiet.
I pulled her closer to me as i whispered her the plan, “Go back around to the front of the house and tell walker there is somebody with a gun, asking for him. Then i want you to grab Averys hand and take off running to his car and wait for me.” She nodded and did as planned. As she walked around to the front i grab a old bat leaning against a tree and hid waiting for Walter to appear.
