“Bu bu but Rose i want to know” Avery whined in his little whiny voice. I giggled as he started to stick his bottom lip out and crossing his arms, like a little kid would when their mother said no to something. “Avery, its nothing really ill show it to you when i finish it, i pinky promise.” I laughed and stuck my pinky out. As always he huffed and puffed then gave up when i showed him i wasn't going to give in this time.
“Fine, but will you at least give me a hint i mean come on Rose you know me, you know i hate surprises and it bugs me when you won’t tell me something.” Rolling my eyes, i nodded. Of course i know how he is i'm always the one that has been his friend for the past, life time. I swear this boy he better be lucky i love him or else i wouldn’t be able to put up with him and his childness. Even though it can be cute, it can also be annoying.
I jumped when i felt something vibrate in my back pocket. Pulling my phone out i realized i had text message, but only two people knew about this phone, my best friend Avery and my cousin i froze when i realized who it must be. I quickly unlocked my phone and read the message.
“Hey Rose, how are you..? I haven't talked to you in awhile and i blame college for that but umm...i just wanted to check in on you and see how your pathetic mother is treating you...i swear to god if i hear shes abuses you til your black and blue and fed you to her pigs, i will kill her this time and not hold back...Well i just wanted to say hi and to let you know i'm flying in tomorrow to come see you...I hope you're excited just as much as me. Well i have to go now so bye and ill see you then.

I started to jump up and down and squeal like some kind of maniac when someone shoved me down. “Watch it bitch, people with lives do have places to be.” I groaned as i sat up on my elbows. Seriously why do people around here have to find every damn excuse to make my life a living hell. I giggled when i looked up at Avery who looked like he was about to beat the living shit out of that girl. So i decided it was best to get up and slowly drag him down the hallway before he does something.
I jumped up and grabbed Averys arm, right when he took a step forward and was about to say something. “Come on Avery, shes not worth it” he just glanced at me to make sure i was ok then sighed in relief. “I know Rose but you know how i get when people think they can walk all over you, by the way why did you just fangirl over me in the middle of the hallway.” he chuckled.
“Avery Avery Avery, you know i couldn’t resist you and your damn cuteness” i smirked and stuck my tongue out.
He raised an eyebrow, and studied my face before a huge grin formed on his face.
“I KNEW IT...I just knew i could turn a lesbian, straight or at least bi…” he grinned and rolled his eyes as if to say yea right. I just burst out laughing, staring at him i knew he was curious and amused at my laughing. Like i said before i love this kid he would give me the world if he could. I straightened up and sighed.
“Have i told you how much i love you Avery..?” I asked and giggled. He chuckled and shook his head. “You tell me everyday Rose, now tell me why did you freak out in the middle of the hall..? He asked while studying my face like he could figure out who i am, pft he would win a reward if that was possible. There's no such thing as figure out who i am or want to be, hell i can't even figure myself out so how is someone else..?
A smile spread across my face as i was about to tell Avery that Stephen was flying down to come see me. Avery knows Stephen and has adored Stephen, hes even had a crush on him. I giggle when i remembered the way Avery use to act towards Stephen when he was around. I mean Stephen knew Avery had a crush on him so he would always tease him for it. I mean after all Avery is the one that told me and Stephen he had a huge crush on him. Yea Averys not a shy person i always envied him for that. Cause i was always the shy and awkward one. And Avery was the complete opposite.
“Avery, Avery guess what..? GUESS WHAT..?” I yelled as i started to jump up and down. He chuckled and shook his head. “Uh rose as much as i want to know we are running late for class like 5 minutes late so we better run to class now.” My eyes widened as i look at my phone and realized we were indeed 5 minutes late. Sh!t, i quickly gave Avery a hug and told him ill tell him when class is over. He hugged me back and laughed.
With that we ran our separate ways to get to class but for that lucky bastard his class was 5 doors down mine was a building over. I groaned as i hoped and wished that Mrs. Beauchamp would understand that i got pushed down then my cousin called called so thats why i'm late.
I ran even faster, hoping no teachers were out roaming the halls and the principal was at a meeting or something. That would be my luck trying to hurry and get to class and a teacher or worse the principal catching me and stopping me and giving me detention after school again. I can’t have that again not after what happened last time. I shivered as the memories started to flood my mind.
