A wall before me, impassive,
Your heart became this oceanic abyss
And I could see it in your eyes.
Before you stood I, stark naked
You treated me like nothing, calm,
In your eyes, all I wanted was to swim.
You would never allow me to swim,
With reckless abandon, your Impassive
Lends not so easily, but you were calm
You dont mind my simple abyss, now,
But only looked at me when naked
I yearned to delve into your eyes.
Look at me in the eyes
Stop looking past me and swim,
And not just when were naked.
Dont be so impassive,
Can you let me into your abyss?
You could be my new calm.
Dont run away from my lack of calm
Take me in hand and, eyes
Like that once overwhelming abyss,
Step into the ocean and swim
Let go of your cool impassive
Be vulnerable with me, naked.
Theres nothing more than naked
That can bring two people calm.
You, no longer that simple impassive
Man, you stare into my eyes
Mine dont allow for a swim
They only carry that hazel-home, abyss.
Dont forget we share that abyss,
That memory held dearly, naked
Bodies entwined in our first swim
Nothing to hold us but your calm.
You didnt gaze into my eyes,
You were, before, bland and impassive.
Ill never let you be so impassive,
The moment you saw my eyes,
I melted into my only calm.
