"Yeah!" Magna, Asta and I shouted in unison.

"Thanks for the hard work." Vanessa yawned.

"The Magical Forensic squad are investigating the belongings left by that criminal. However, it seems like no useful information is extracted from it. From that expensive pocket watch he left behind and those crime he was committing, I'm afraid he is an extremist from one of those royalties." She continued.

"Ah, one way or another. The magic emperor has approved of our action! And blessed us with a star!" Yami held up a shiny gold star and placed it beside 30 negative stars.

Congratulations, Master. Upon achieving a star, you have levelled up. Ability: Inventory box is now unlocked. Master is now level 45. 20 more levels till long-distance attack spells can be unlocked.

20 levels?! Why do I need to level up so much just for a long distance attack spell?! Is this because I'm a mob character that I have to go through so much trouble?! *sighs* I guess I have to do what I have to do...

"Whoaaa! Seriously?!" I could hear Magna yell in suprise over their first positive star.

"Star? What does that mean?!" Asta asked.

"The 9 order of Magic Knights had been using the amount of stars as a symbol of honor. We've been competiting forever since. I ought to mention, ranking on number 1 now is golden dawn with 70 stars!" Vanessa stated.

"Alright! Now we have exactly negative 30 stars!" Yami shouted.

"Ah... It was because we destroyed a whole town on our last mission..." You still have the guts to admit it?!

"Now we are finally 100 stars away from becoming equal with Golden Dawn!"

There's still a long way to go... But I bet Asta and I will earn those positive stars in no time! There's a dungeon waiting for us in the future after all!

"And now... This is your pay for this month!" Yami threw a bag of coins at my face. This weight... This smell... The familiar jingles that brings music to my ears... ITS MONEY!!

My eyes twinkled at the small bag. Although its not a big amount, its still money. I could buy lots of stuff with this amount. Such as food... Probably not jewellery though...

"WHOAA!! ITS MONEY!!" Asta's eyes twinkled at the sight of it.

"What a small amount." Noelle added in. As expected of royalty...

"You idiot! With that much money you could buy 2000 wild potatoes!" Asta scolded.

"Wild potatoes? What is that?" As expected of royalty... They really don't eat commoners food at all... They are missing out on something big! Although commoners food may not look physically appealing, its so delicious that your clothes will probably get torn apart by a mysterious force just like in shokugeki no soma! (A/N: Shame on you if you don't know what shokugeki no soma is! JKJK but you should check it out if you don't know what I'm talking about.)

"It's a delicious ingredient that could go well with any other ingredient and only obtainable in the village of Hage!" I explained proudly.

"Congratulations on receiving your first pay~ Since you have some money now, let's go to the castle town for shopping! I'll bring you along since I'm free right now~" Vanessa snuggled her breasts onto my arm once again and winked at me.

"Castle town?!" Asta asked excitedly.

"Let's go!" I pumped up my fist.
