The attack on the Clover Kingdom (Part 1)

"You're going to...be the next magic emperor?!" Everybody's eyes widened at the ridiculous sentence spouted out by Asta.

"Hahaha... That's not even funny!" Nebula, Solid and Alekder all opened up their grimoires and lauched attacks onto Asta.

'Water bind: Hydra's nest.'

'Fog bind: Strangling mist.'

Asta took out his anti-magic sword and slashed at it, negating the magic spells like they were nothing.

Just then, a huge pile of sand in the shape of a knight came out from the ground and caught Asta and I in between its arms, restraining Asta. What did I do?! I was just spectating! T^T (A/N: Isana was standing near Asta so when Alekder casted his sand magic, Isana was also caught up in it. Isana and his poor luck...)

"Guh...!" Asta winced as he tried to struggle out of its vice grip.

"For what you did, here in this place today, you won't be able to escape without some reprimand." Alekder frowned deeply.

"Hey, hey... Why are you being so lenient with him, sir of the Golden Dawn? Its for fools like this that go off running around their mouth that you need to be stern with your 'punishment'... So that neither they nor anyone will try this again." Solid evilly smirked as he conjured a water bullet and sent it flying at Asta at an extremely higher velocity. GYAAA I'M GONNA DIEEEE!!

'Water form: Planet Buster Bullet.'

"Isana! Asta!" Noelle cried out.

"Asta!" I yelled out desperately for my savior as I increased his strength by 20%.

Doing this, Asta got enough strength to lift up his arm and take out his second anti-magic sword from his grimoire.

At that moment, Asta not only negated the sand magic restraining both him and me but also deflected the magic water bullet back to Solid, making Solid get hit by his own magic and kneel down to cope with the pain.

"You'd better apologise to Noelle and Isana!" Asta shouted.

"Was I actually forced to a knee.. BY THIS STREET RAT?!" Solid gritted his teeth in extreme anger. Yeah, ain't no sh#t that you were forced to one knee by Asta, your own body is literally the evidence of it.

"Solid..." Nebula had a worried expression on her face as she looked back at Nozel whom emitted out a high pressure of magic as he death-glared at us.

"Brother... Don't use your magic against the common folks like that." The mental pressure that Nozel was exerting on me made me feel really uncomfortable. I felt like a naked chicken in a war zone.

'This guy is bad news... I'm feeling a pressure similiar to that of Captain Yami. I guess he isn't the leader of an order of knights for show!' Asta, whom probably had the same thought process as me, broke out in cold sweat.

"Now then, how should I correct this rat that doesn't show the proper respect to royalty?" As every step Nozel took closer to us, it was like the air was gettung heavier and heavier.

"Why don't you stop right there?" A musculine voice cut through the intense mental pressure that Nozel was building onto us as every second went by.

Nozel turned his head to see the leader of the Crimson Lions, Huegoreon Vermillion.

"Sir. Huego Leon." Mimosa bowed her head and greeted.

"Mimosa wasn't exaggerating, you're quite interesting, kid. Rejoice! You are now the rival of me, Leopold Vermillion!" A short biy with spiky hair and a braid at the bottom of his head declared proudly.

"Who?" Asta made a stupid face as he questioned Leo. (Leopold)

Yuno deadpanned as he asked for more details at Mimosa. Mimosa then explained to him that the guys were all her cousins.

"Men are all fools, aren't they, leader?" A dark-skinned woman nonchalantly laughed as she shoved a piece of food into her mouth.

"That's ungraceful, Sol." A cool beauty, Charlotte Roselei, the captain of her squad sighed.

"I'm sorry leader~" Sol giggled.

"Call me captain." Charlotte replied sternly.

"I'm sorry~"

Hmmm... Although I'm not really into yuri but I still think that they could be shipped right...? They have the potential to be a ship couple... Anyways, onto the main story! I quickly shook away all yuri thoughts and focused on the main situation.

"Julius, if he's here, that means he earned his right to be here... So even if he's a commoner, shouldn't you allow him at least that much?" Huegoreon argued. That's right! You tell him! Asta earned his right to be here, he literally got stabbed in the gut by a jewel shard!

"I never thought I'd hear such words from royalty... I guess the gousehold of Vermillion is all softies... Besides, I'm the one that calls the skies my road, who should I acknowledge the insects so far below me?" Nozel gave out a silent 'hmph'. Parents... This is why you should never spoil your kids too much, they get extremely cocky just like this guy with his weird ass hairstyle.

Sparks flew between the two, and the tension in the air became much heavier than before. Both of them released their mana, one took on the shape of an eagle and the other a lion. The pressure of standing close to them made me get goosebumps; the feeling was similiar towards the sudden realisation of where the speeding car was about to collide with my body in my past life. I could never forget that nauseous feeling, it made me feel scared... I don't want to feel that again...

I clenched my fists until my knuckles turned white, small droplets of cold sweat dribbled down my forehead as I tried to withstand the overwhelming pressure and trauma.

My saving grace was the hooded mob man that suddenly barged in the banquet hall, getting everybody's attention and also putting a stop to the captains who were releasing their mana.

"WE HAVE TROUBLE! OUR KINGDOM... IS UNDER ATTACK!!" The grave tone of his finally made me remember what happened after this... How could I forget such an important event?! I think I'm starting to have memory loss...!

To make Master have an easier time during this chapter of Black Clover, Master's level will increase by 20 levels, unlocking ability: Long distance attack spells. Long distance attack spells will send strong invisible punches towards the locked-on target. Master will need to level up more in order to unlock more variety of attack spells. Master's current level is 65. Congratulations on levelling up Master!

Wow... What a convenient time to level up... Thanks system, although I expected the long distance attack spells to be much cooler but I guess this'll do for now, I need to level up more.

Anyways, let's get on with the story and protect Clover Kingdom!

Hey guys~ Sorry if this chapter was a bit short. I'm super pissed because wattpad didn't save my 1200-word draft cuz it had some maintenance problems, so I had to rewrite this whole chapter again, resulting in a delay in updates. I promise that the next chapter will be longer though! I will also make a habit of copy and pasting my recent draft works just in case the same problem happens again.

How was the chapter btw? Did it feel rushed? Or was there a drop in quality?
