The Valor Ceremony

"Now then, let's begin the Valor Ceremony." Julius smiled.

Waaaaiiit! I'm not in my top form yet...! I still need to increase my charm so that I can shut those arrogant nobles up...!

"Don't worry, Isana. You look fabulous." Junko whispered as she gave me a thumbs-up. Aww Junko~ You know me best! I smiled at Junko's words as I quickly increased my charm by 30%.

At that moment, Julius opened the door and many eyes were all fixated on us. Many of those gazes held disgust, as if they were looking at pests. The stares made me feel really uncomfortable so I squeezed Junko's to release some of the stress that was accumulating inside me.

Julius then walked past the the crowd and sat on a large throne and announced. "Now then, let's begin the Valor Ceremony."

"Lepold Vermillion from the order of the Crimson Lion. Your fire magic, like your brother of your order, is extremely powerful, so please be careful." Julius directed his words to a boy with hus hair tied into a braid. (A/N: I know that this isn't what the manga actually depicted but the speech in that panel felt really weird to me, so I added a little bit of my twist to it. Hope y'all don't mind.)

"I give no quarters to evil doers." Leopold seriously replied.

"From the order of the Wild Blue Roses, Sol Malon has been promited to 3rd rank middle Magic Knight for her six stars! Her maneuvarability and special properties of her earth magic keep in that the ranswer with the men, but I think she has too much freedom!" Julius said in a light-hearted tone.

"The only one who can put a leash on me is our leader." The dark-skinned girl nonchanlantly stated. Ummm... That's a very misleading comment... *Mind wanders off to some BDSM scene* (A/N: Bondage, Discipline, Sadism, Masochism. Correct me if I'm wrong.)

"From the order of the Silver Eagles, Nebula Silver has been promoted to 3rd rank Upper Magic Knight for his 9 stars. The delusions made from your mist is amazing! Just don't mess around with the enemy too much, ok?" Julius kept around his happy-go-lucky tone.

"Thanks for the warning." The man arrogantly smiled. If I'm not wrong... This guy is Noelle's brother... So he's one of the people that bullied my cute tsundere... Get ready for me to whoop your ass bro!

"From the order of the Silver Eagles, Solid Silver has been promoted to 3rd rank Middle Magic Knight for his 6 stars. Your intricacy in forming magic is top class, but I think you'll do a lot better if you'd work with a team and not solo." Julius gave some advice.

"I'll keep that in mind." The guy smirked, clearly not taking the wise advice to heart.

"From the order of the Golden Dawn, Alekder Sander has been promoted to 2nd rank Upper Magic Knight for his 11 stars. Your dilligence and flexibility are really shocking, so how about you lighten uo every now and then?" Julius smiled.

"I'll take your words to heart!" The burly man furrowed his eyebrows and answered firmly.

"From the order of the Golden Dawn, Shren Tium has been promoted to 1st rank Middle Magic Knight for his 8 stars! You'd be perfect man if you were as eloquent as when you're casting your magic."

"...Yes sir..." The tall man mumbled, his face expressionless.

"From the order of the Golden Dawn, Hammond Carseus has been promoted to 2nd rank Middle Magic Knight for his 7 stars! I bet the enemy lost to you since your magic doesn't look like it suits you."

"Thank you sire." The plump man rubbed his chin as he smiled at Julius' words.

"Great work from all of you. Now then... You guys can enjoy yourselves with the little that I've prepared. Do get along with them." Julius let out a bright smile. Just then, everybody turned back and gave us an awkward stare. My grip on Junko's hand grew tighter as I tried not to let my nervousness be shown on my face. I need to play it cool! Keep your shit together, you can do this!
