Yuno's inner struggles

Yuno's POV

Our group was done with eliminating the magic zombies that were terrorising the North-west part of town.

"So you're done on your side too, huh?" Alekder squinted his eyes at me.

"That was so creepy!" Mimosa shivered slightly.

A small tinge of fatigue hit me as I tried to take a step. Dammit... I need to get better so that something like this doesn't wear me out...

I looked at my palm, and noticed that the emerald in the ring Isana gave me was glowing slightly. Just then, a surge of energy rushed through my body, instantly replenishing my slightly tired body.

Isana... I love him so much... I smiled and fiddled with the beautiful ring on my finger. I then gave the ring a little peck, sometimes wishing that it was Isana's fingers instead, imagining what his reaction would be like made me tremble with delight.

"What's wrong rookie? You scared?" Alekder had a smug look on his face.

"No, that's not it." I replied in a monotone voice.

"Tch." He clicked his tongue and rolled his eyes.

"THEY'RE INSANELY POWERFUL!"

"I'M GLAD THEY'RE ON OUR SIDE!"

The cheers from the crowd slightly changed my mood for the better. Though, Isana's praise would make me 200% better. I can't wait to get back to him and let him praise me for my deeds... Maybe I'll hug him as he does it. Ahhh I can't wait for this to end...!

As I was getting absorbed in my thoughts, a black mass suddenly appeared below my feet. I managed to get away from it before it swallowed me whole due to my instincts. But Alekder and Mimosa fell into the black mass, I tried to use my wind to help them up but to no avail.

"What the...!" Were Alekder's last words before he sunk into the black hole.

'Teleportation magic: Blackout.'

"What just happened?!"

"The magic knights just disappeared!"

Gasps of shock could be heard as people watched their only defense against the attack just disappeared into a black mass.

"I can't believe every single ome of them fell for that trap! Are they all stupid?" A wicked cackle echoed.

"I was looking forward to playing with the ones that I missed, but, oh well." I looked up and saw a woman with drill locks wearing an ugly dress that made her look like a black flamingo. I furrowed my eyebrows at the sight of her fugly appearance.

"Who are you?!" An old couple in the crowd shouted out in horror.

"Now then, let me get some young mana while I can." She licked her lips, trying to look sexy but ultimately failing. A shiver ran through my spine as her smile somehow reminded me of how Isana would look like that whenever Asta and I are together. But I have to add that Isana looks way better and has a better personality than this pedophile.

Just then, the black flamingo woman used her magic to suck out the life force of the people from the crowd, mummifying them in the process.

"KYAAAA!" The horrified screams of two women filled the air as I rushed towards the rescue.

"STOP PRETENDING TO BE CUTE, YOU DAMNED SOWS!!" The black flamingo lady's eyes had turned bloodshot and began shouting erratically. She then turned the screaming ladies into mummies.

"NO, ELIZAH!" The young man beside her, most likely her lover, screamed in agony.

"Oh? I found a good looking man! Hey, am I pretty? How young do I look? Well?" She lifted the man's chin for him to direcly look into her eyes.
