"Jimmy, your target this time... That little shit!" The masked man had a creepy smile plastered on his face as he commanded his zombie to attack Asta.
"You keep sending these creepy things to fight me... That's not fair, dammit!" Asta whined. Just then, he felt a trickle down his face. The small graze caused by Jimmy's bullet suddenly started to bleed profusely, as if the bullet had hit an artery.
"What I just hit you with is a special bullet of Jimmy's. With his curse power, a scratch can be life threatening." The masked man explained, still keeping on his creepy smile.
"Don't worry, Asta. I'll back you up." I quickly increased Asta's recovery abilities by 30%, recovering the wound back to the small graze it once was.
"Tch. Don't butt in, pretty boy!" The masked man clicked his tongue and ordered Jimmy to send mutiple bullets in my direction.
"Watch out!" Asta side-stepped in front of me and deflected Jimmy's bullets.
"Thanks." I let out a small smile.
"No problem!" Asta gave a thumbs-up.
"For someone with no mana, he sure is holding his ground. Plus, with that pretty boy backing him up, its gonna be annoying. But there's still plenty left in Jimmy." The masked guy clenched his fist in anger as he muttered to himself.
"But, before I finish them off... I need to get rid of that annoying girl... JIMMY, GET RID OF THAT LITTLE SHIT THAT'S HIDING BEHIND THE PRETTY BOY!" The masked man pointed to the trembling girl behind me, she flinched and grabbed onto my sleeves, tears were sliding down her cheeks. What a bastard... Making such a cute little girl cry... Scum of the earth!
Bullets were flying everywhere but Asta somehow still manages to deflect it all, keeping me and the little girl safe. Good job Asta! As expected of the protagonist!
"Who the hell are you aiming for?!" Asta bellowed.
"That's right, I forgot... Magic Knights are supposed to protect the citizens. JIMMY ATTACK THAT KID!" The masked man laughed creepily as he commanded his magic zombie, Jimmy.
Oh no you won't! I sent multiple invisible punches towards the masked man, distracting him and making the bullets seems more predictable, allowing Asta to deflect them more effieciently.
"What... was that!" The masked man rubbed his bruised mouth as he glared at us. He then sent more bullets at us.
"Kuh!" Asta let out a pained groan as a bullet skidded across his ribcage, blood was gushing out of the flesh wound profusely. I immediately panicked but kept a clear state of mind and increased his recovery ability by 30% once again, healing the wound almost instantly. Damn... I love my magic! I'm like so perfect! I can heal and fight! Whatsmore, I'm hot as f#ck! Thank you system for this bomb-shell body.
"WHY ARE YOU GOING SO FAR JUST FOR A KID?! WHAT MERIT IS THERE TO DEFENDING THAT USELESS PIECE OF SHIT?!" The masked man shouted eratically.
"Big brother..." The little girl looked up to me with big watery eyes, her lips were trembling. OMG SO MOE! SHE EVEN CALLED ME BIG BROTHER (onii-chan)!

"I'll protect you." I rubbed her soft silky hair and gave a reassuring smile. The little girl suddenly stopped shivering and blushed heavily.
"I'M NOT DOING THIS FOR REWARDS!" Asta glared at the masked man.
"Is that so? THEN STAY THERE SWINGING YOUR SWORD UNTIL YOU BLEED OUT!!" Dozens of bullets came flying at us, Asta tried his best deflect wave after wave of them. I could not lauch any attacks on the masked man because I was busy healing Asta and increasing all the strength stats by 20%.
"Isana! Asta!" Just then, I could hear Noelle's voice from afar. Perfect timing...! Please get this poor little girl out of this hell hole!
"Get this girl out of here, Noelle!" I shouted.
"But... but..." Her voice grew softer and softer, hesistation could clearly be felt in her tone. She must be hesitating because of what her siblings said... Alright Isana, preach to her!
"Noelle! Stay focused! Don't falter because of what your siblings said! Being dissatisfied with your current level doesn't make you a liability! But doing nothing about it does! Stop hesistating! Believe in yourself!" I felt so wise as I shouted out my heartfelt words to her.
'That's right... I should believe in myself and prove my siblings wrong!' Noelle's eyes were now clear and bright, as if a fire had been lit inside her soul.
"DIE LIKE THE WEAKLINGS THAT YOU ARE!!" The masked man's disgustingly annoying voice interupted the emotional moment Noelle was having.
So annoying...! An anime irk mark popped out on my head. "Noelle! I'll distract this guy just for a few seconds, protect the girl!"
I then sent dozens of invisible strong punches towards the masked man, knocking him off balance for a few seconds. Noelle then used this time to form a water barrier around the little girl.
"Great job Noelle!" I clapped.
"What on earth on you doing Asta! I couldn't just sit down around and watch Isana keeping supporting you anymore! So be thankful that I came to help you! Nothing can stop you when you can move freely, so go!" Although Noelle scolded Asta, her face had a faint tint of pink on it. Hmmm... So she likes Asta? Well... Sorry Noelle but Asta is taken by someone(Yuno).
"Hehe! Looks like Isana made you snap out of it!" Asta chuckled.
"MORE LITTLE SHITS?! KNOW YOUR PLACE!!" The masked man gritted his teeth in rage. He then summoned more hoards of magic zombies. But as soon as they were summoned, a flame soon disintegrated them in one big swoop.
LOL ALL THAT MAGIC USED UP TO SUMMON THOSE ZOMBIES WAS FOR NOTHING! HAHAHA SERVES YOU RIGHT BASTARD! I was laughing so hardly internally that tears were threatening to fall down my eye sockets.
"I've come to your aid, my rival! Give that slime ball a taste of your sword!! Show him exactly what you're made of!" The owner of that flame was none other than Asta's self-proclaimed rival, Leopold.
"RIGGGHHHT... THANKS FOR THE ASSIST! AND I WAS GOING TO WHETHER OR NOT YOU SAID ANYTHING!" Asta lunged towards the zombies and sliced apart any that came into his path with his two anti-magic swords. He then begun to spin, like a top, shredding anything that was 3 feet away from him, that included the masked man's so called trump card, Jimmy.
"What a fighting style unbecoming a magic knight!! I'm liking you more and more!" Leopold praised. Can I misunderstand this sentence? I'm liking you more and more...? *Gasp* A potential rival in love for Yuno and also a potential ship! Hmm who is the uke and who is the seme...? Wait Isana! No! Think about that later! This is a battlefield now! Be professional! Plus you shouldn't betray Yuno×Asta no matter what.
"Why the hell would you get hit by an attack like that?! Jimmy you...!" The masked man scolded his own magic zombie.
"Quit your bitching... And step up to the plate yourself!" I glared, murder intent was probably flowing out from my eyes.

Hey guys~ I'm super sorry for the 4 days delay! I had two math and a history test during that 4 days, I had to study my ass off in order to pass... I don't get why teachers would squeeze 3 tests all on the same week. (First math test was on Wednesday while the second math and history test was on Thursday AKA today) Also, my other subjects teachers still gave tons of homework despite already knowing that our tests was on this week. What kind of sadists are teaching in my school?! I call this straight up child abuse! T^T Nevertheless, I feel pretty confident about my answers but I will cross my fingers and hope for the best.
Anyways, enough about me ranting on about my personal life. How was this chapter? Did I manage to keep up the quality of work?
