"Whoa!" Asta pushes me away from the beam.
"Hey! What are you guys doing?!" I could hear Rebecca's screams.
"Rebecca! I'm sorry about the mess!" Asta rubbed his head awkwardly.
"I don't care about that right now! I can't find any of my siblings!" She yelled worriedly.
"Huh?" Asta raises an eyebrow.
"Maybe they went to pee?" Asta innocently replied.
"No, Asta. It's not that simple. Listen, other children are missing as well. I think they might have been abducted..." I stated.
"Chris?!"
"Euryan, where are you?"
"Where's Fon?"
Worried cries of parents filled the town. The cold temperature seemed to have dropped even more.
"DIE!" Gauche shot another magic beam at me.
"Give it a rest!" I shouted at him.
"ABDUCTED?! My god..." Tears welled up in Rebecca's eyes.
"What kind of nonsense is this?! It's snowing now?!" Noelle came out of nowhere and joined us in the conversation.
"Noelle?!" Asta exclaimed.
"I just saw a lot of kids going up that hill over there... What was that about was it magic? or was it some kind of festival?" Noelle pointed in the direction that the children headed off to.
"By the way Noelle, why are you here?" I decided to tease her for a bit.
"I... I-I just happened to be passing by!!" She flabbergasted.
"This snow... I can feel mana in it. This is someone's magic." The old nun from back then managed to pop out of nowhere and quickly changed the topic.
"It's a magic that lets you control others but it's restricted to children whose magic hasn't fully developed yet. A few of the kids at our monastery were taken. I wonder what they're planning to do with our kids?" She continued.
"Hey, old hag... By saying that some of your kids were taken... Surely, you don't mean... that Mary was one of them, do you?!" Gauche glared at the old nun.
"Unfortunately, yes, I do." She replied.
"You shitty old hag!! You were right there! What the hell were you doing?! Answer me, bitch!!" Gauche grabbed her by the collar and pulled her up. The bloodlust in his tone was getting heavier by the second.
"Calm down!" I hit Gauche's head really hard. He instantly lets go of the old nun's collar and buried his head in the snow due to the impact.
Eh?! I didn't know that I used so much strength?! I literally b#tch slapped Gauche to the ground. OMG! It felt good though... (lol)
