The Storm

Jess' POV:

I attempted to get down the stairs with Ally's help.

"Mel should be here in any minute", I said checking my watch

On cue the doorbell rang. Ally went to open the door

"Hey come in", Ally greets

"Hey thanks", Mel says walking into the house

"Hey babe", I smiled

"Hey beautiful", she returned the greeting

We all made our way to the backyard

"Mom dad this is Melani Jess' girlfriend, well unless they aren't dating then they should be whatever", Ally rambled

"Hey Melani", the parents greeted with a smile

"Hello", Mel said

We've been in the backyard for about an hour Ally's parents left after they provided us with food.

Ally called over her boo thang, his name is like Dustin or something I don't know

I sat on a chair with my bad ankle resting on Mels lap

"Soo", Mel said while running her fingers up and down my leg

"So what", I ask

"I don't know I'm bored and Ally looks pretty busy over there with her tongue down Danny's throat"

"His names Danny !? I thought it was Dustin"

"I don't even really know to be honest"

"Ally what's his name!?"

"David dumbass", Ally replied before kissing that boy again

I look back at Mel and we just burst out laughing

"Meh we were close enough", she laughed

I lean in and kiss her cheek and she pouts

"Que"

"Only my cheek"

I smile and crash my lips to hers. I can feel her arms wrapped around my waist

"Jessica Marie Perez!", I hear my moms voice shout

"Are you fucking kidding me right now, is the some kind of sick joke", I mumble looking behind me to see my mom standing by the glass door

"What are you doing here", I yell at her

"I came to talk to you!", she yelled back

"I hung up on you OBVIOUSLY our conversation is over!"

"Maybe you shouldn't argue back with her Jess", Mel cooed

Jess? so were back on a first name basis, ha ok

"Yeah listen to your little dyke friend", my mom said

I stood up

"You really need to leave now"

"You are to come home right now", this bitch says completely disregarding what I just said

"I'm not going anywhere with you" , I shot back

"Right now Jessica!", She said

"Escúchame, I'm not going anywhere with you"

Before I knew it she had my shirt gripped in her fist

I just smiled "oh so you're gonna hit me again, well guess what this time I'll have witnesses"

She released me but not before pushing me to the ground. I groaned as my ankle made contact with the ground

"I'll see you at home ", she said leaving

"Fuck mi vida!!", I screamed in pain

"Babe!", Ally screamed as she ran over to me trying to help me up

"Nope nope, don't fucking touch me! None of you helped when she was here I don't need your fucking help now"

I tried to get up by myself after 3 attempts I was able to stand up and balance on my good leg. I reached over and grabbed my crutches and started walking out

"Wait", Mel said. I just kept walking

I walked out of Ally's house to the park about 20 minutes away

"You see this is why I shut people out they're useless and they'll never help you when you need it the most", I said to myself

My phone kept ringing, so I turned it off

"Is it too much to ask for something good to happen to me"
