I guess you could say I missed out on a lot

Throughout my years at Auradon prep I never was too keen on keeping informed on all the drama that went on at school. I only heard about the whole Maleficent coming back thing when it actually happened. Through the time at the school when the VK's were here I was aware of their existence, I just never bothered to see them in public.

However, the only exception to that is Carlos, who was in some of my classes and let me just tell you, he is absolutely stunning; everything I could want in a boyfriend.

Ever since he came he just had this amazing sense of humour; he made the class laugh even in the most focused moments. He had this amazing talent for teamwork like I had never seen before in a lifetime which made me fall for him even more. In a way, I would consider myself in love with him, but he would never date me in a lifetime so I never let myself get that far.

I knew I had to get out into the real world at some time, I just didn't know it was going to be like this; Carlos becoming my boyfriend.

I should bippity boppity back up though, and tell you the whole story. Now, this may seem like the worst way to meet someone, but I'm glad it happened. I ran into a wall and dropped everything I was holding in my arms at that moment.

I mentally cursed myself for being that clumsy, as I drew way more attention to myself than needed. I shyly diverted my attention from all the people staring at me and started to pick all my books back up. My plan was working; until I saw a hand grab for my last book. I glanced up to see it was Carlos; I'm doomed.

He handed the book over to me as I nodded in thanks and put it into my bag. "So, uh, (Y/N), do you want me to walk you to your class?" Carlos asked me as I regained composure from my run-in with the wall.

"Uh, sure if you want, I mean you don't to, I'm perfectly fine with walking alone," I replied dumbly. What sort of reply was that? I haven't had a normal conversation in such a long time, let alone contact with my crush!

"Oh, it's no problem!" Carlos replied almost instantly as if waiting for me to reply eagerly. I nodded quickly and started to walk towards my next class with the Carlos, and surprisingly it wasn't that bad.

As we were walking we talked a little about our interests and surprisingly we had a lot of things in common. We both loved dogs, we both had parents who didn't exactly favour us and many others.

It wasn't until we just got outside my classroom that the heat got turned up a notch. As I was about to walk into my classroom he grabbed onto my arm gently and pulled me over to him, "Wait, (Y/N) could I talk to you for a moment?" Crap. My heartbeat quickened as I followed him over into a secluded area not too far from my classroom.

Carlos approached me in a way that I was never approached before, almost lovingly? He eventually made it so our faces were only inches apart, before starting, "I've never been that good with confessing, so I'll just say it straight out, I like you." I felt the heat rise up to my cheeks as I laid my books beside me somewhere, I really didn't care at the moment.

"I like you too," I stated gazing into his mesmerizing brown eyes that sparkled in the sunlight magnificently.

"CanIkissyou?" He blurted out quickly, presumably to make sure he didn't start stuttering mid-sentence. Then it happened, I grew some confident and pressed my lips into his, wrapping my arms around his neck.

He kissed back almost instantly, wrapping his arms around my waist. Holy moly, I can't believe I'm actually kissing him, oh my gosh! The feel of his lips against mine was so mesmerizing, every moment I savoured with him, knowing very well that this could just be a weird dream. We broke apart from the kiss and gazed into each other's eyes in comfortable silence, I felt right at home with him.
