"I'm telling you, he'll wake up soon," Sal assured me as we reached his room.
Hesitantly, I agreed, fearing the worst.
He opened the door reluctantly and took a deep breath.
So did I.
Joe greeted us with the same nervous expression as Sal had plastered on his face moments before. The crew stood around Q in his private room, each trying to talk to him or get a picture.
I made my way to Q. The guy who brought so much happiness into the guys' life and mine was now staring lifelessly at the ceiling.
"It's such a shame," Murr said.
"What is?" I asked.
"That we made this happen, he warned us, he told us to make it stop. We didn't listen."
"Wait, when they said it would take weeks does that mean-?" I stopped.
Murr shrugged his shoulders, "that we have to postpone the rest of the tour."
Joe stride over to us, "Oh my god, I didn't even think about that."
"What?" Sal hurried over, eyes knitted closely.
"We can't carry on the tour." Joe said.
"If only I hadn't suggested it," Sal said.
Sal threw his hands to his head and paces back and fourth, Joe bit his nails and Murr stared longingly at Q.
"If only," Murr repeated.
"If only." Joe finished.
If only we hadn't gone as a goodbye to me, I thought. That was the real reason. Guilt consumed me and tears began forming in my eyes, tears of guilt and sorrow and sadness.
"What's up?" Murr asked.
"It's my fault, isn't it?" More tears began falling.
"No way," Murr said nonchalantly, like I told him it was going to rain.
"Olivia, don't think like that," Sal stared into my eyes and gave a reassuring nod- more reassuring than the smiles the guys had tried to give earlier.
"I can't help it," I said, "but if I wasn't here..."
"If only," Sal rose his voice, "we can't change what happened. It was none of our faults. Can we drop it now?"
The room fell silent, the producers left through the door and all that was left was us 5.
I could hear Q breathing.
"What's happened to us?" Joe asked, sitting beside Q.
Then, all of a sudden
his heart beat slowed. The monitor was showing warning signs.
"Quick, get somebody," Sal ordered- but I had already ran.
