We Are All Human

I know not everyone is the same

But do we have to treat each other like pawns in a game?

Our differences are a part of us

But they shouldn't stand between us.

Rosa Parks didn't refuse to move on that bus

For no reason.

A world of perfect harmony

May be some vague dream

But it is one I would love to be lost in.

Dreams can be hopeful things.

Not always true, but amazing things.

World peace would be a wonderful thing.

Do the birds not fly together

Even if their feathers are different hues?

Do dogs not travel in packs

Even if they are different breeds?

Do the constellations not stand united in the sky

Even if they form differently?

Do the planets not align

Even if they are as different as can be?

Do different clouds not form

Together in the blanket of sky?

Look deep into yourself, into others.

Do we not all have a soul?

Do we not all have life?

Do we not all have a chance?

Do we not all have the same things?

Do we not all have emotions?

Do we not have our differences?

Can we not get along, in spite of them?

Are we not all human?
