I slowly opened my eyes to blinding whiteness. I was surprised of the sudden coldness that had my arms turned into icicles. I groaned in annoyance. I knew that I had made the dragon mad, but I didn't think she had a torturing device.
"Oh thank goodness!" I heard a somewhat familiar voice cheer before sneezing, "you're awake! I messed up!"
"Did you... get yourself in the dragon's torture chamber as well?" I have heard that she does have one, though I'm not sure about it. She hasn't told me about it. And I'm not going to ask. She'll either put me in there or end up eating me.
"No. She doesn't even have one. Well, I got us to the Overworld, and... I don't know what this white stuff is, but it's wet and cold."
My eyes opened up pretty quickly and I shot upward, "WHAT?!"
There was very little color around us as more snow the ground. The air bit into my body as I tried to shake off the pain.
He sighed, his Ender skin turning icy blue very slowly, "I thought that I could just hide you until you wake up and find your way back home, but it didn't work..."
"I'm s-sorry, but s-snow isn-n't the b-best hiding place..."
"I-I originally went to a cave, b-but humans... they were there..."
I silently chuckled, "humans take over things too quickly sometimes. Ever been in the Overworld before?" I stood up, ready to run through the snow, since I saw a little smoke off in the distance.
He shivered and shook his head, "n-no..."
I smiled down at him and held my hand out to him, "come on. There's a fire nearby."
He shakily looked at my hand and paused for a second. He then hastily took it and pulled himself up. He shook more as he exposed more of his body to the elements.
The moment he stood was when I started running toward the smoke. I forgot about how endermen worked for a second, but I quickly remembered that he was part enderman and accidentally showered myself with snow as I halted to see if he was getting hurt or anything.
To my surprise, I didn't see him under the tree. I was confused until I looked forward again, seeing him teleporting ahead like there was no time to take a break.
I chuckled and started running again, this time covered in snow. I race as fast as I can, but I somehow can't keep up with Ender. I guess he was a lot more desperate than me.
Soon, we finally saw the source of the fire. It was Notch, who was burning down a forest so that his players have somewhere to build their "precious" homes, or at least it's what it seemed to be.
The moment I saw that Mojang symbol on his back was the moment I almost tackled Ender, getting him to hide behind a tree, "dang it. So much for a little warmth..."
"B-but I need warmth..." He was visibly getting worse, his skin frosting over. He needed warmth immediately.
I started thinking, quickly looking at him, "know the coordinates?"
He nodded, "163 X, -2 Z... wh-why?"
I smiled, "we're not that far from my place..." I then started sneaking around the fire, using it as both heat and a disguise. I hoped no one saw us as we snuck past the fire and ran away from the crowd. Honestly, I wasn't in the mood for the challenge. Why didn't I just teleport, yet again? I didn't feel like it this time. I just needed to warm myself up, and just standing there and teleporting around wasn't going to warm me up. Running around and trying not to be spotted by an evil mastermind will.
It didn't take long before we were out of sight of everyone and we were on our way, soon walking into a warm grassland. I immediately embraced the nearest thing that I could grab onto, which was a tree, and just stayed like that for a while.
There was a long silence before Ender's strange accent broke the silence, "so... now what?"
I felt my cheeks warm up quickly as I realized how stupid I looked, hugging a tree for no apparent reason. I slowly removed myself from the tree and looked at him, "a-a little farther... we'll stop when we find an old shed."
He nodded and started teleporting off.
I sighed and teleported after him. The first one is almost always the worst one for me, especially if it's been a while since I've teleported. Sadly, this was one of those times, and I puked into a nearby bush.
Ender stopped and looked at me, "... maybe you shouldn't do tha--."
I cut him off with my hand. I coughed a few times and looked up at him, "it's okay... it gets better after the first time." I teleported again, but this time, it didn't felt just as bad. Already have thrown up once, I only let some stomach acid shoot out of my mouth.
He sighed and shook his head, "yeah. Don't try that anymore. At least until you feel better. It might be because of the cold. You need to warm up first."
I looked at him in shock. How does he know so much about telep--oh... I'm talking to an enderman hybrid version of myself. I mentally facepalmed as I simply nodded. We both knew that I wasn't in any shape to teleport, especially with the cold that had affected me.
He nodded and kept going for a while. Eventually, we did find that little shed, but knew that was going to be the first outsider that I've ever allowed near my children voluntarily. Unless I'm making that person my "child".
He looked into the shed, "... this place?"
"You'll see what's so important about it." I then went inside that trash-ridden shed, "ooh! Ouch! The children really need to stop throwing trash in here."
"Children?"
"You'll meet them shortly..." I muttered as I continued to look for the lever. I finally found that one lever and sighed, "finally." I then flicked it, pistons going into their new position... exposing my new home dimension...
