"Just friends" I said simply as I stored my books inside of my locker
"Sure" lacy grinned sarcastically as she folded her arms crossed
"Im telling the truth!" I whined. Im funny
"Quit lying to yourself honey. Lying doesn't get you anywhere cough lacy " luna patted my back as she shot a glare towards lacy
"It was one time!" Lacy groaned. "I look 21 don't I?"
"You're 17 and snuck into a bar" lily shrieked
"My dad said to go in and get my brother and I did.........after some things happened...."
"SHOTS" luna screamed In excitement
Lily face palmed her forehead. "And this is why lola and i are going to heaven" lily said
Then suddenly I felt arms wrap around me from behind, hugging me from the back. My body relaxed as I calmed all the sudden, still sending butterflies up my spine
"Do you guys even know the definition of 'friends'?" Lacy grinned
"Parents" luna coughed, trying to cover what she had said
"We're not just friends............we're best friends" joey chuckled, kissing my cheek
"I cant take it anymore. You all are a bunch of liars. Im out of here!" Luna dramatically stormed out with lacy following behind. Okay then........
"So you guys.......you know.......a thing or what" lily giggled
"Just friends" I replied
"Best friends" joey corrected
"Not according to my lie detector" she shook her head in petty.
"You have a lie detector?" I asked in confusion
"Yep" she smiled widely. She pulled her hand out and waved it towards us. She placed her hand in front of me first and scanned my body like some kind of police officer
"BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP see i told you so" she said. "Now joeys turn-"
"Can you give us a minute" joey asked
"Of course" she replied. She didn't moved from her position. She just stood there waiting for something to happen
"Like now" joey said
"Oh oh yeah. Im leaving now" she cheekily smiled. Is this girl glued to the floor or something?
"Um, can you go now"
She nodded
"........shoo!"
"Okay okay" she sighed then qwalked off with her heavy legs, huffing and pouting
"So......." Joey started. "About last night-
"Nothing happened last night. Okay?" I stopped him.
"Quit lying to yourself honey!" He mocked luna
I giggled whilst shaking my head. "All we did was have a small fight. Then we made up-
"More like made out"
"Shut up joey" I hushed him. "We're best friends........nothing more, nothing less" I said, placing my hands on his shoulders
"You're killing me, lola"
