Anne looked up as she heard a knock at her door.

"Why you bother knocking is beyond me." Louise smiled as she opened the door and closed it behind her.

"So what you got from last night?" Louise whispered plonking down on the bed next to Anne's desk.

"Well I wasn't able to retrieve all the files but I got some of the important ones." Anne clicked her mouse a couple of times opening files. "Dylan was about to investigate a crime that had recently occurred. The murder of an elderly man. This man was apparently crazy he ranted in about monsters and magic and people who could do crazy things. He was murdered two days ago." Anne concluded.

"So we have two murders in two days, one was investigating magic and the other a crazy man who rambled about it. We should go investigate that." Anne shook her head.

"No we should go to school." She checked her watch. "Which starts in ten minutes."

"Sugar honey ice tea! Why didn't you tell me?!"

"Because you shouldn't rely on me to be your personal reminder." Anne chided and quickly got changed.

"What are you wearing?" Louise asked looking at Anne's attire. She was wearing a black skirt that stopped at her thigh's, a red corset and knee length combat boots. She left her hair down, not bothering to try and put it up.

"Shut up, I'm in a funny mood."

"Yeah hilarious." Compared to Anne, Louise was dressed simply with long army green cargo pants and fitted plain black t-shirt. The girls left Anne's and quickly ducked into Louise's place to grab her books. The walk to school was a short one because the girls parents thought it would be a great idea to live close to the school so they were never late. Anne and Louise had disagreed but didn't argue. The girls arrived just as the bell rang and they started running to their catering class. Both girls burst into the catering room and yelled.

"Safe!" Mrs Robinson stood in front of the girls tapping her foot with a smile spread across her cherry red lips.

"Safe and late." They gave the teacher a sheepish smile as they walked over to their benches in the back of the room grabbing an apron as they went. The lights flickering as they went and both girls seemed to hum on the inside. "All right class today we will be baking ANZAC slices for the up coming ANZAC parade. The school will be selling them to fundraiser for this years school festival so we have a tinge schedule. Which means no messing around." Mrs Robinson looked at Anne and Louise for that last bit and they looked at her confused. She wrote her instructions on the board then handed everyone a recipe. The girls immediately started collecting all their ingredients then there were the eggs. Anne and Louise looked at each other as the last two remanding eggs sat in the carton glaring at them with a devious smile. They needed two eggs each.

"Mine." They said in unison both reaching for the eggs.

"Fine if you really want it." Louise said picking up the egg and cracking it on Anne's head. She gasped.

"Oh no you didn't." She turned around suddenly then came back with a hand full of flour and threw it at Louise's face. She grabbed the other egg and threw it at Louise but she dodged and it splat against the wall. Louise grabbed some flour and threw it at Anne while Anne threw some milk. Louise grabbed one of her class mates eggs and through it. Anne ducked and the egg splat. The egg whites dripped down Mrs Robinson's face as she tried not to laugh and put on a serious face. It wasn't working.

"Both of you... Detention... Now..." She said holding in a laugh that shook her body.

"What Moi?" They both asked in unison. The teacher rolled her eyes.
