Louise pulled Anne along as she clutched her arm to her chest blood still pumping out of the cut. Louise looked at Anne worried and Anne looked at Louise worried. Both of them thinking the others injuries were worse. Louise glanced behind her and suddenly the girl disappeared into the shadows. The girls kept on running until they ran into the assassins chest sending them tumbling to the ground. All three of them tumbled as a mass of limbs flailing and tangling. The girl was the first to recover jumping to her feet pulling out her sword holding it to Anne's throat as Louise looked up.

"No!" She pounced forward and tackled the assassin to the ground. Anne jumped up and hit the assassin across the head with a large stick. She stumbled back then stepped forward and sent her foot flying at Anne's chest kicking her back. Suddenly Messenger ran up and grabbed Louise in a bear hug trapping her hands to her chest and holding his sword to her throat. Anne hesitated when she saw this and the girl took the opportunity to pounce on her constricting her arms and holding the sword to her throat.

"You ok Ivory?" Messenger asked. Ivory nodded. Wiping the blood off her lip with her shoudler. Sirens blared in the back ground as firemen came to the aid of the burning house.

"Get out of my head!" Louse snapped feeling his mind in hers. Messenger pushed the sword harder against her neck.

"I'll be in there if I want to." He growled back. Then we heard something drop to the ground with a clatter and every one turned to see a boy from Anne and Louise's school. Uh oh. Both girls thought. The guys phone was instantly to his ear and the police were on the phone. His eyes were wide at the scene. Anne and Louise covered in blood only loosing more with swords to their throats. In a split second Ivory and Messenger released the girls and disappeared into the shadows. They couldn't risk being caught. Both girls fell to the ground their eyes fluttering close. Sometimes their connection went too far.

Beep! Beep! Rhythmic beeping echoed in the hospital room. Anne moaned and her eyes fluttered open.

"Where am I?" She muttered, and cringed in pain.

"LOUISE!" She yelled in realisation and searched around the hospital room. Wait hospital, Anne thought. The heart monitor sped up along with Anne's heart beat. A nurse raced in expecting to see her in cardiac arrest.

"Oh, your awake." She said in surprise.

"Where is she?" Anne asked in panic.

"Where's who sweetie?" The nurse asked in a sweet voice.

"Louise, where is she!?" Anne yelled, jumping up out of the bed, ripping the IV needle out. Blood dripped down her arm and onto the floor. Her heart beat raced.

"You need to get back into bed, your just going into shock." The nurse said in a semi calm voice.

"No, I need to know where she is!" Anne yelled.

"We need some help in here!" The nurse yelled.

"We're busy in the other room!" Someone yelped.

"Oh dear what's happening in there!" The nurse asked in frustration.

"A girl just woke up and she's going spastic!" The doctor yelled.

"Louise!" Anne yelled and raced out of her room, the rest of the needles slicing there way out of her skin.

"Get back here!" The nurse yelled.

"Never!" Anne yelled back and ran into the room she suspected where Louise was. When Anne threw the door open, three doctors held Louise down.
