"I hate interviews!"

Namjoon yells when the band gets back, I myself having just returned from the studio after polishing up lyrics. I have a lingering cough that won't quit, but other than that I'm basically healed. They walk inside with take out pizza boxes and I'm relieved I won't have to cook today. I grab a box out of Tae's arms and chuck it onto the counter, pulling out a slice and abandoning the faint inclination towards using plates.

"So Noona, what did you do?"

Jungkook says, grabbing pizza and scooting his bum onto the counter beside Tae.

"Remixed a few lyrics, wrote a new rap song and tweaked all the lyrics at the studio. I also called your old manager and told him he was moved to production supervisor, so he'll be the one arranging when we do comebacks and releases. Everyone good with that?"

Namjoon gives me a high five while walking past, releasing the hovering concern I had over them changing their mind over me.

"If we're moving Jungook to a visual and vocal, who's going to do the rap?"

I scoff at Yoongi's comment, knowing he's been dying to get more time for lyrics.

"Who do you think?"

I say sarcastically, throwing him a water bottle from the fridge and nearly hitting him in the face.

"ME!"

Taehyung shouts, and I cringe inwardly, because there isn't room for yet another rapper and Tae can't rap. At all, at least, not yet.

"Tae how about we keep you a visual? You've got that whole cute thing going on and you and Jungkook are the dream team for vocals."

He raises an eye brow, glancing up and down my body in a split second. Shoving his body off of the counter he saunters over to me, biting his bottom lip and locking his eyes on mine. It's only now that I realize how tight his skinny jeans are and how his dark eyes glitter. He puts his wrist on my shoulder, biting his lip again as he leans closer to me, our faces inches apart. His messed up hair makes him look really, really hot as his bangs brush against my forehead.

"I've got a cute thing going on Noona? Is this cute enough for you?"

I never knew his voice was so deep, and there's this raspy quality about it, I can't believe he isn't a smoker. He comes so damn close I feel my breathing almost hitch, his eyes never breaking contact with mine.

"Tae this would work on literally any other girl on this planet, Korean or otherwise, but not me..."

He raises a brow, silently challenging my words.

"You sure Noona?"

He asks and I have to force the sudden fantasy out of my head because God damn it Tae! If only things could be easy for once.

"I'm sure."

I say, putting my hands around his neck and smiling.

"Taehyung I am very, very gay."

His eyes widen as he leaps backwards, choking on air and stumbling in surprise and not homophobia, I hope. Yoongi also drops his water on the floor and Jungkook's eyes bug out of his head. There's no reason the boys need to know I'm bi and heavily affected by them when they walk around shirtless. No reason for them to ever know that.

"We can work on rapping later on in the game Tae, but for now let's keep your role. More pizza anyone?"

I ask, furiously trying to keep the questions from rolling in.

"If not we have a dance practice and vocal session to run through."

"I'll have seconds!"

Jungkook says as we all take an extra slice to post bone the shit ton of work we have to do tonight.

"I'm just as burnt out as the rest of us, but you all need to shower and then get ready for tomorrow's fan signing."

"I hate fan signings!"

Hobi says, pessimistic as ever. I take the towel off of my neck and put it around his, quickly squeezing his shoulders.

"Hoseok the ten people who show up will be twenty next time, forty next, a hundred soon. But only if you show up to meet them and make them feel important to you, personally. Okay?"

"Mm."

He says, heading for his room.

"Stay happy sunshine!"

I shout after the moody man, ignoring that he flips me off. I flop back onto the worn out couch and surf their accounts, setting up a new profile on every website I can. Promotions are still on me, at least for the networking aspect. I don't notice Yoongi has come out or that everyone else is in bed until he throws a blanket on my lap, squeezing in on the couch beside me. I accommodate and shuffle over, forcing myself not to tense up. He sighs his signature sigh, filled with the the weight of the world and a rappers lung capacity.

"So you're gay?"

He asks, turning onto his side to face me, hair still wet.

"Yes, I'm gay."

I confirm, returning the gesture so we're face to face, outside city lights dimly illuminating the room just enough for me to see his face.

"Me too."

He says quietly, silently waiting for my reaction. His eyes hold fear and insecurity and hope, nothing like the sharp tongued rapper who spits out lyrics about sluts and drugs and bad intentions. It seems like he's been caught in a lie since debut, maybe even longer.

"Okay."

I whisper, and soon he's bawling into my chest, an untold weight lifted from his shoulders. I can bet I'm the first person he's told. His hands tighten into fists around my shirt and his legs tangle with mine, seeking out comfort he's desperately in need of.

"Sorry I shouldn't have-"

"Don't apologize."

I say, ignoring the wet tears on my collar bone and his cold nose pressed against my neck.

"Don't apologize for who you are, not to me, not to the press, not to anyone."

He sniffles some more before getting comfortable, arm slung across my waist and head tucked into my shoulder.

"I'm staying here."

He says and I scoff, grabbing a pillow for our heads.

"Don't you think you're in charge, calling all the shots now."

He snickers quietly, eyes closed and already half asleep, face still wet with tears. I'm asleep in minutes next to the pile of melted sugar that isn't near as mean as I thought he was.

Wrote this at 11:01, well, finished it then, and now I'm writing an author's note to talk myself into getting some sleep. The inspiration for this chapter came from, um, I don't know, the first time I came out was when I loudly declared it at the science center to my sister, and she was like "cool, what's it like! I'm straight so if you have any questions about that I'll answer!" And it was really great and the best experience ever, just saying, shout out to @leneathm. And hope you're enjoying the softer side of my writing, and of Key.
