Deep inside the forest, far away from human civilization, and from the vampires, a house stood in deep vines, and ivy. Past the living room and main rooms of cobwebs, down the halls of tearing wallpaper and slashed walls, into the dark and leaky basement, and into a dark blue door that leads further down, a black coffin lay in the middle of the room. Cobwebs decorated the room, and the underside of the coffin. Dust littered the floor, and silence went around the room, as nothing moved.
Soon, a heartbeat came from the coffin, and went throughout the room. The lid moved an inch, the dust falling down onto the floor, until it stopped and silence came again. Then the lid completely slid off the coffin and dropped on it's side to the dusty floor. Inside the coffin laying on white velvet, lay a little girl sleeping the days and years away. Her heart began to beat again, as her chest went up and down. Her eyes glowed purple, as they opened slowly, and faded to a light brown color. She blinked a few times, and then sat up slowly. She coughed, and then stood up to get out of the coffin. As soon as her feet touched the ground; the coffin lid slid up the side, and closed the top. The coffin began to shrink, and came to lay on a long chain around the girl's neck.
The door to the room in the basement opened, as she walked through. All the doors opened letting her through towards the front door. The vines and ivy, lay across the doorway, as she came to a stop. Crickets and frogs were singing a tune, as the night sky shone with stars across the house. The girl stepped outside and looked around at the swaying trees, and the setting sun. Her white dress touched the ground, as she came off the step. Her eyes stared at all the fireflies. A noise came from the forest to her left, sounding like a whine and close to a growl. She followed the noise slowly. The growling whine got louder, and was coming from behind a group of trees. She peeked around, and saw a large wolf panting on the ground, with a large gash on it's stomach, and legs. It's fur was white, and covered in blood as it tried to drag itself towards a hollowed out tree.
She approached slowly, careful to make any noise. A twig snapped under her foot as she was almost behind it. It didn't even move, as she came closer and closer. It just whined, as the pain went throughout it's body. She walked towards it's head, and waited until it's eyes opened. It tried to growl, but only came out as a whine. She held her hand out; walking closer. "It's okay. I'm not going to hurt you." The giant wolf went silent as it heard her voice. A sound soft as a whisper of the wind below a birds wing. She put her hand on it's nose. "Your hurt." Her other hand went toward it's wound, but stopped as it growled. "Sorry." A thought then came to her head. "Hold on a minute." She stood up, and looked around for a rock. Finding one near a tree, she walked back over, and bit the sharp point into her palm. A dot of blood began to well up, and then continued, as she drew a line across her palm. "This might help."
She dripped a few drops on the wound, only for it to join the pool beneath it. "Hmm, maybe...you have to drink it?" She scooted closer to it's head, and held out her hand. The wolf panted, and stared at her. It sniffed, and came closer to her hand. It started to lick her hand, but then moved it's head closer, and bit down into her flesh. She flinched, as it started to suck the blood from her. The girl started to rub her eyes, as the wolf stopped sucking. and licked the wound. She yawned and snuggled into it's side, while the wounds smoked and closed. The wolf waited til she fell asleep, before standing, and took her towards the hollowed tree. The wolf lay down, as the girl snuggled deeper into it's warm white fur, that was now tipped in purple. It wrapped around her, and snuggled to sleep.
Far away in the human side of the world. Hunter Organization- Knight Cane
A man sat in his desk, surrounded by files of vampires here and there. He ran his hands through his hair. "So many." He felt his head was going to explode. "Hey Chris." He looked up to the face of his friend and person that gives him headaches. "What do you want, Shade? I'm kind of busy." He banged his head on top of a stack of files. "That bad, huh?" He turned his head, and looked at him with one eye. "Don't start. Anyway," He sat up and glared at him. "What happened to you helping with all of these?" Shade smiled as he held up a piece of paper. "Look what I swiped from the boss." Chris raised a brow. "And..." Shade sat on his desk with a thump; causing some of the files to fall to the floor. Chris glared at Shade. "Sorry." Chris rolled his eyes and picked up the files.
