As soon as the bell chimed, people started flooding into the classroom. Michelle laid her head on the desk. "A normal day...I hope." Her nose caught the whiff of a perfume, or two perfumes she knew well. "Oh no." She sat straight in her chair, and slunk under the desk. It was a good thing a long piece of board blocked everyone's view. She heard Ness's voice just as the perfume smell got stronger. "Hi Shade, Hi Chris. What brings you here?" Michelle smacked her forehead with her hand. "Not those two." She flashed between the column desks. "Ah, nothing much. We're just here to ask Michelle for a favor." Michelle rolled her eyes. "Favor my ass. The last time they asked me for a favor, I was left in the Amazon Rain Forest, about to be eaten, but a crocodile." She peeked over the top. "That's weird, where'd Shade go?"

Just as soon as those words left her mouth, someone picked her up by her collar. "Found ya." Michelle felt her temper rise. "Damn it, Shade. I'm not helping with anything. The last time you two wanted my help, I was almost eaten. In the Amazon Rain Forest. By a crocodile." She slipped out of her jacket, and jumped away. "You both can do it yourselves." Ness glared at the two. "Really?" Chris laughed nervously, and put his hands up in surrender. "Just because you both are vampires now, doesn't mean I still can't kick your ass." She huffed. "When did they become vampires?" Ness stood next to her. Michelle huffed. "You know how I told you these two are the ones who found me and Fido ten years ago?" Michelle asked her. "Yeah. Why?" Ness asked her. Michelle felt eyes staring at her, and looked to see everyone else in the class waiting for her to tell it. Even the had come in, and stopped to here the story. She scrubbed her face. "Fine, I'll tell it. But," She pointed at Chris and Shade. "Stay away from me, or I'll kill you." She sat on one of the desks.

"Now, most of you know the story, but I'll tell it so those who don't know understand." She took a deep breath. "Now apparently, ten years ago I was asleep inside a giant mansion's basement. A mansion that was between the border of the vampire, and human countries. I was asleep there for a very long time. I'm not sure why or how, but someone hid me there to keep me safe, or hid me for themselves." She stretched. "Soon after pure bloods started to pop up everywhere, I awoke in that basement, and made my way outside, as the doors opened for me one-by-one. That's when I went out into the forest and met Fido. According to him, I saved him from a very bad injury, and then fell asleep on his fur." She remembered the warmth. "A few hours later, these two morons found me." She jerked her thumb at Chris and Shade. Chris sighed. "I remember that day. It was too fucking cold." Shade scoffed. "Big baby."

Michelle rolled her eyes at them. "After taking me to my mother, I was adopted by her a year later. However, three years later, when I turned nine. These two wanted to take me on an adventure, and to get some field experience. Like an innocent child, and a stupid one, I followed; without telling my mother." She glared at them, as they smiled sheepishly. "They took me to the Amazon Rain Forest in Brazil. They both wanted to find vampire artifacts, since vampires had started to appear everywhere..." She was quiet for a minute. Ness leaned in closer, "And, what happened next?" Michelle looked at her with a raised eyebrow. "Your enjoying this aren't you?" Ness grinned. "Yep. Come on, it's not everyday you talk about your past. Besides, I'm not the only one enchanted with the story." She gestured to everyone else in the room.

Michelle crossed her arms, and huffed. "Like I said, they were searching for vampire artifacts. Didn't even matter to them if they were broken or just relics without power. Just like when Shade grabbed one  of the papers from my mother's office about scouting wolves, that were fives times the size of regular ones. And he did it again with the rain forest." She grumbled. "I will say this, it was pretty funny when they went into the vampire tomb in Brazil." She snickered at the memory. "Instead of artifacts, or relics, they found their wives. Well, to their surprise, they had just woken up, and were washing their bodies, when Shade and Chris walked in. I however, had taken a different turn in the tomb, and wound up in a den of crocodiles. I'm still wondering how an ancient civilization, decided to put crocodiles into a part of the tomb. For what seemed like hours, I was sitting on a tree top in the tomb, with a bunch of hungry crocodiles at the bottom." She felt her temper rise.
