A few weeks later-
Michelle awoke in her own bed. Her body feeling sluggish, as she moved beneath the blankets. Her body froze, as her leg hit something hard. She also realized her waist was encircled by something hard, and warm, but her leg moved inward, and touched something else that was hard and warm, causing the warm body next to her, to moan. Her face flushed with color, Michelle moved backwards; removing the arm slowly from around her waist, and putting it around a pillow.
She kneeled over the bed, as she put her foot backwards, and stood. Sighing in relief, but covering that sigh with her hand, she made her way to the door. Looking back at the sleeping figure in her bed, she tip-toed out, and into the hall. The sun was just about to come up, as she went outside. A large wolf waited for her, as she came to the gates. She smiled. "Hello, Fido." Fido leaned into her hand, and whined. She ruffled his fur. "I know your worried, but I didn't get hurt that much this time." He gave her a wolf scowl, and nipped her hand. Michelle patted his head, and laughed. "Alright, just stop nibbling me." She climbed on his back, "Let's go see the others." She held on to his fur, as he jumped through a portal. They arrived in the backyard of the mansion, and saw a lot of the vampires; besides the children, waiting for them.
They all smiled, while others sighed in relief. Michelle laughed a little, and then went to the tree. Patience ran to her side. "Shall we plant another tree?" She smiled down at the child. They took the seed, and dug a hole for it, five feet from the first tree, but more in a circular direction. As the tree began to grow, the people behind them, gasped at the elegance it held. A giant gold tree, covered in Egyptian hieroglyphs, and golden snakes, with the designs of either blue, or green down their backs. The snakes hissed, and swirled around the tree branches. One of the cool things that this tree had, was that it's leaves were actually hieroglyphs themselves. She walked towards the tree; the snakes watching her every move, as she put her hand on the trunk.
The tree shook in delight, and warmth, as she laid her head above her hand, and closed her eyes. Michelle heard laughter coming from behind her; as she turned and saw Luna again' but also, another woman. "Michelle!" Luna ran from the tree roots, and hugged her middle. "Your alright." Michelle raised a brow, and flicked her forehead. "Of course." Luna rubbed her head. "You don't have to be so mean." Michelle chuckled, and looked at the woman sitting on the tree roots of the gold tree. "I'm guessing your, Chantress?" The woman stood up. "Nice to meet you,
Mich." She gave a deep curtsy. "Since I came to be, I've heard many things about you." Michelle huffed. "Probably bad things, I take it?" Chantress chuckled. Michelle looked at her black hair with golden strands, her gold eyes, and the dress that hugged her figure, but this dress was a top wrapped around her chest, and the long skirt around her waist. Michelle sighed. "She's even taller than me." She pouted. (That's what your worried about?)Michelle sat back on one of the other trees roots. "Ah, Michelle, don't sit the-" Michelle gasped in surprise as the tree roots clung to her waist, and hung her upside down. She looked at the other two. "So, which tree is this?" She saw black tree roots, and something else attached to them. She started to feel sick, "Can you put me down now?" No answer. "I'm sorry for sitting on your roots, can you please put me down?" The tree waited a little, before turning her right side up, and down. "Thank you." The tree tapped her head. "Hey, not so hard." Michelle smiled. "I have to go, see you guys." She opened her eyes again, and stepped back. "Mich?" She jumped, and then looked at Patience. "Sorry." She knelt into the grass.
"It's not scary. Look." She held her arm to one of the snakes. It hissed, and slithered closer. "See." The snake curled around her arm, and moved down toward her waist, until it came face to face with the girl. Staring at one another, they wondered who make the first move, until the snake inched closer, and flicked it's tongue on her face. Patience giggled, and touched it's head. (I'm surprised it's still connected to the tree.) Michelle said goodbye, and left through the portal. "How about we walk through the woods, Fido?" Fido huffed, and shoved her to the side. Michelle chuckled, and walked beside him. The sun was fully high in the sky, as they made their way back to the school gates. A very angry Horus waited for them on the other side. He had woken up alone, and couldn't find her anywhere, for the past few hours.
