Michelle stretched, as she made her was down the stairs. Fido would be here to pick her up in a few minutes, and she was lucky her uniform was repaired, and washed. She sighed, "Going into a school full of vampires, with blood stained clothes, is not a good idea." She stretched. Since it's been a month, Ness should be a vampire now. She sulked, "And It took me so long to prolong it." She thought of hitting Jackal a few times. She walked into the front parlor, and then outside in time to see Fido and Jackal appear. "Hi Fido. Why is Jackal here?" She crossed her arms. Fido scrubbed his face. "I was made to take him, your friend and mother would not take no for an answer."

She glared daggers at Jackal, who was staring all around, and at the vampires. She snapped her fingers. "Hey, fangy, eyes here." She pointed to her face. He flinched from her glare. "Nice to see your still alive, Mich." She punched him in the arm, "Don't call me Mich, and I'm guessing you turned Ness?" She stood on her tip- toes, and looked into his face. "So?" Jackal blinked, and a deep red blush stained his face, as he turned away sharply. Michelle stepped back. "I knew it."  She sighed, grasping her chin with two fingers. "And I tried so hard to keep it from happening." Jackal closed his mouth, feeling the stares of all the vampires standing not far behind. He gulped, and then decided to say something nice, because it looked like he was going to be eaten. "Your hair's gotten longer...it looks nice." He forced a smile. Fido muttered next to him. "Nice save."

Michelle felt her hair. It had become longer, reaching almost to her lower back. "I might have to cut it." A sharp pain went through her head, making her stumble, and grab onto Jackal. "Are you alright?" The pain subsided. "I'm fine, just a slight headache." She shook her head. "Ah, by the way." She grabbed Jackal's shirt, and pulled him down. "Tell no one what you saw." He looked confused for a moment, and then realized what she meant. "Okay." She raise a brow. "Alright, alright, I won't tell anyone." He zipped his mouth closed. She let him go, while stepping back. "Good. Now, let's go." The wound twinged a little as she moved. Fido shook his head, opening a gate to the school. Jackal went first, and then Fido, Michelle went after waving goodbye to the others. She felt something grab onto her arm, as she came through. Turning around, she saw Luke behind her. "Luke, why'd you come with?" He laughed weakly, "Well, Bridge's father said the only way for me to date his daughter, if for me to prove myself."

Michelle got it, "Ah, so in other words, he wants you to have some experience at the outside world, and protecting someone before he gives you permission." She crossed her arms. "Well, I can ask my mother if you can stay here, and help with guardian duties, since we need a new one all of a sudden." She side glanced at Jackal, who shivered. "Here, let's go see her. I know I'm going to get an earful." They arrived at her mothers' office. Michelle leaned toward the door, trying to hear her mother. "It's too quiet. Hmm." She knocked, and went inside. "Mom?" She turned on the light. "I guess she's not here." Just then the lights turned one. "Surprise!" She looked at her mother, and Ness, as they held a mini cake with a candle. Michelle smiled. "Well, I see you two couldn't resist the cakes that I made, and put into the freezer." She laughed, as there face was covered in a little frosting.

She blushed, and wiped the frosting off. "Sorry, Michelle. We heard you were coming back, so we tried to bake a cake, but Francis wouldn't let us in the kitchen, so he showed us the mini cakes you made a few months ago, and gave us three." Ness said, having a dreamy look in her eyes. "You never told me you can cook, or bake for that matter." Michelle stuck her tongue out. "I have to have some secrets, you can't learn all of them." They both laughed. Vanessa hugged her child. "Don't scare me like that." Mich snuggled in her arms. "Sorry, mom." Fido, smiled, deciding to leave them to talk, and grabbed Jackal. They walked down the hallway, and out of sight.

Vanessa then looked between the two young women and sighed, "I must be getting old." She sighed. "Alright, how about you two go talk, I have some paperwork to do." Ness dragged Michelle out of the room, before she could protest, and went to her room. Walking down the hall, Michelle wondered something. "Hey, Ness?" Ness slowed down, "What is it?" They stood in front of her door. "My mother seems distracted, is something wrong?" Ness looked around, and then dragged her inside, slamming the door shut behind them. She then breathed a sigh of relief, causing Michelle to be even more confused. "Your scaring me, what the hell is going on?" Ness ignored her for a minute, and closed all the other doors. "Okay." She dragged a fuming, and still confused Michelle to the bed, and sat down. "Seriously, Ness, what the fuck is going on?" She crossed her arms.
