Ness got even more scared. "Who are you?" The woman smiled. "What vampire lines have you heard of?" Ness looked at Michelle. "We've heard of purebloods, nobles, regular vampires, lesser vampires, those bitten and turned, but have gone mad, um..." They tried to remember the others. "Ah. Weren't there some animals that were turned as well?" Ness asked Michelle. Michelle scratched her head. "There was one other, but I can't remember." She tilted her head to the left, and then the right. Suddenly, it popped into her head. "Oh yes, there are the king or queen purebloods. That's all we know." Cerula smiled. "It's not surprising, but didn't they tell you about royal vampires?" They shook their heads. "No, actually, your the first royal vampire we've met. Were mostly around purebloods, nobles, and other vampires."

Cerula had a blank face. "But, I'm still wondering why your here? It's really rare for two children to enter an abandoned town, much less a town of vampires." Michelle wondered if she should tell everything, so she only told a little. "We were asked by my uncle to come check a house in this town, but he didn't know this was a town of vampires, so we couldn't have known either." She felt her temper flare, but just for show. "That moron thought it was good to send children to an abandoned town!" She huffed. "I hope my mother kicks his butt." Cerula had jumped at her outburst, and then chuckled. Ness looked at her. "By the way Miss Cerula, why are you in this town? If your a royal vampire, shouldn't you tell the pureblood vampires of your existence? I'm sure they would respect you, and treat you as the leader of them all."

Michelle looked at her too. "That's true. You'd be respected, and they would make parties in your honor." She wrinkled her nose. "To much partying though, is bad for you. All that noise hurts your ears, and you can't get any sleep." Michelle remembered. "Oh, it seems you have lots of experience." They both frowned. "Yep." The lesser vampires were getting restless, making Michelle more cautious. She felt their conversation was coming to an end. Grabbing Ness's hand, she scooted a little toward the gate. "I think we should be going now. We have to get home." They moved towards the gate, only to have Kain stand in their way. "I'm sorry, but your not going anywhere." Her eyes turned purple. "You'll be staying here." The lesser vampires readied for an attack. "Ness, did you bring one of the smoke bombs things?" Ness felt in her pocket. "Yeah, when have you known me to not bring any?" She pulled out of one of the smoke bombs.

"When I tell you, throw it at the ground." They backed towards the other way. Just as a lesser vampire jumped, she yelled. "Now!" Ness threw the bomb, causing smoke to blast everywhere. "Come one." Michelle grabbed her hand, and they ran towards a building in town. Michelle noticed something out of the corner of her eye. She turned to see a vampire half-hidden in the shadows, with black vines swirling around him. She squeezed Ness's hand tighter, and ran faster. They ducked into a building, that was half gone, and slanted at an angle. The panted, as some of the lesser vampires, ran by. "What do we do now? We're going to die." Michelle watched Ness pace back and forth. She was rubbing her hands together. Michelle looked around the room they were in. "This was probably someone's home." Michelle turned to see hands try to grab Ness. "Look out!" She pushed Ness aside, and the hands grabbed her instead.

She was pulled through the rest of the building, and stared into the face of one of the lesser vampires, covered in black vines. "Michelle!" She turned to see Ness being dragged away by the black vines. "Ness!" She tried to reach out her hand to grab Ness, but the vampire held her back, as she was dragged away. The vampire jerked her head to the side, and sank his fangs into her neck. Michelle felt her vision get blurry. "Damn it, I won't die here." She banged her head into the vampires, causing it to let go and growl in anger. She held the gun to it's head. "Say goodnight." She shot the bullet, and the vampire turned to ash. Michelle ripped a piece of her shirt, and tied it around her neck. "Have to find Ness." She ran down the streets of the town, looking here and there. "Where the hell did they take her?" She huffed and panted. Wiping her mouth, she ran towards some close knit buildings.
