"Princess! Princess Del Rey!" I heard a familiar voice shout. I turned around and saw a girl running towards me.

The girl had light brown eyes, athletic built and a well defined jaw line, standing almost as tall as Hillary in a black crop top and plum skinny jeans with black platform boots. Her hair is black and short, with magenta tips and she had small star tattoo on her left collar bone. She swiftly approached me. Could it be-

"Savannah? Savannah Lopez?"

The girl stopped right in front of me and said, "The one and only!"

"Oh my gosh! Is that really you? It's been so long, you've changed so much!" I told Savannah.

"Hahaha, I know! You haven't changed a bit Princess." Savannah replied with a smirk on her face.

"Come here you!" She gave me a tight hug.

Savannah and I go way back. We used to be neighbors, but then they moved about 2 years ago. We were pretty good friends, and we had many things in common, music was one of them. My mother never had a hard time remembering her because she knew that Savannah's father owns about seventy-seven percent of all the malls within the country. My mother is also friends with Savannah's mom and also happens to be her dermatologist. Savannah was one of the few people that felt real and honest. Probably because she knew how it felt like when people only cling to you for what you have and not because of who you are.

"Oh, you." I hugged her back. "It's been so long, what are you doing here?"

"The same reason why you're here Princess, I'm here to study." Savannah said. "Psychology." Savannah added.

"You're in psychology too?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Don't get me wrong, I'm not going to use this as a pre-law or pre-med, my mother made me choose between psychology and biology, so I had to choose the one that seemed cooler." Savannah replied.

"My my, Savannah Lopez finally started listening to her parents? Whatever happened to going away and pursuing your music right after you graduate high school?" I asked.

"I'm guessing the same reason why you're here and not in a university." Savannah said.

"They forced you to go to college?" I asked Savannah.

"I think the word blackmail is more appropriate." Savannah answered.

"Blackmail?" My eyes widened a little.

"It's kind of a long story Princess, let's save it for some other time." Savannah said.

"Alright, but I actually go by Samantha now, or Sam." I insisted.

"Really? I guess you did change a bit, but I don't just call you Princess because it's your name you know." She winked. "You and I both know that everyone treated you like one."

I laughed. "Are you still mad because I stole the Princess of the night title from you on your last high school dance at Leighton Academy?" I teased.

"You and I both know that I don't care about that kind of crap and the only title I'd enjoy to have that year is the 'Ultimate Rockstar of the year' title, if it existed." Savannah replied.

"Well, I heard you won Prom Queen last year." I continued to tease Savannah.

"Like you did not? Don't rub it in. I'm not so proud about that either." Savannah complained. "That kind of thing is yours not mine, and I certainly don't enjoy any part of it."

"I was kidding!" I laughed. "I just missed teasing you like that." I winked.

Savannah rolled her eyes and smiled. "C'mon, Let's catch up inside before the professor arrives."
Savannah and I entered our classroom and she introduced me to her friend Margaux, who happens to be her classmate back in high school. She actually kind of reminds me of Savannah. Although, her black hair is long and had red highlights. She also has an industrial piercing on her right ear, and another piercing on the left side of her nose. Then I found out that they are actually in a band together.
