"Miss Amber! You're finally home! Your parents have arrived and they have been looking for you." One of the maids nervously approached and whispered to Amber who just arrived on her black Audi S8.

Amber's eyes widened. "What?! They aren't supposed to arrive till tomorrow? What the hell happened? "She immediately got out of the car and hurriedly ran to the front door. "Oh wow, I suddenly don't feel so good." Amber whispered to herself.

"Actually, we arrived just about an hour ago, you missed us at the aiport." Amber's mom, Melanie, was leaning against the door with both of her arms crossed.

"Mom." Amber flashed a nervous grin. "I-uhm, Hi. Welcome back. I thought you were coming home on the day of the party?"

"It is the day of the party." She walked to Amber and pointed to her watch. "It's almost 3:30 in the morning Amber, check your watch. I would not have given you that Omega if I knew that you wouldn't use it."

Amber took a short peek at her watch. She started to feel dizzy and out of balanced but she tried to make eye contact with Melanie as she examined her from head to toe.

"Why are you out this late?" Her eyes looked at Amber like she was being judged inside a court. "You weren't answering your phone, and you smell like alcohol. Have you been driving drunk?" Melanie asked.

Amber wasn't sober, but she wasn't drunk either. She had a few drinks earlier at the party she went to, before she took a drive home. She tried to stand and listen but she started to feel lightheaded and had a hardtime focusing.

"And why are you dressed like that?" Melanie continued to question Amber. She walked closer to her looking even more serious than before. "There had been a lot of rumors about you Amber. Do not make things hard by confirming them."

"Uhm.." That was the only thing that Amber could say that moment. She was feeling too ill nor did she want to talk about all the things Melanie asked. Amber barely sees her parents, they practically live abroad, that's why they have never seen Amber on a regular day. Amber tried her hardest to make her seem like the ideal perfect daughter. Independent, proper and gets perfect grades. Melanie never would have expected to see Amber wearing an inappropirately short leather skirt with only a bandeau top that flashes her belly button while wearing alcohol stained black combat boots, and with such messy hair in a loosened high ponytail.

"Mom, I.." Amber suddenly felt her stomach spasm. She pauses and suddenly vomits, covering Melanie all over.

Melanie stood in shock. She was now covered with her daughter's vomit. Amber, who seemed to have felt better after vomiting, stood with her eyes wide open.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry mom!" Amber exclaimed. "She continued to blabber but Melanie cut her off. "Stop."

"Go upstairs, get cleaned up and get some sleep. Make sure that you look your best later at the beautiful gem party. You are to behave and be at your best character later during the event, am I understood?" Amber gives her a nod. "I will deal with you after the event." Melanie added.

Amber was immediately brought upstairs. She turned around to have a look at her mom who was now being assisted by their maids. "I am so screwed." said Amber.

"Damn. You look fucking awesome." Maddie said.

"You curse way too much, Gale." Samantha replied. "But thanks though." she flashed a quick grin.

"Maddie, I told you to call me Maddie. I don't want to share a name with Carlos, gosh." She sat on the floor and grabbed the bag of chips on the table near her.
