| CHAPTER THREE | After School

ANGELIQUE'S POV

Kian, Crystal and I have been down the street for nearly a half hour before getting our Subway.
It was mostly Kian and I keeping the conversation going, I tried getting Crystal to join in but something seems off about her.

"Well do use want to walk to Subway now?"

"Yeah, I'm starving" Kian says in a whiny voice.

Crystal nods her head and smiles at me.

Once we got in front of Subway, I had got Kian to go in first. I wanted to see what was going on with Crystal and the weird vibe she is bringing around us.

"Crystal wait" I grab her arm. "What's wrong? You don't seem like yourself".

"Nothing is wrong, trust me Angelique". She places her hand on my shoulder "I'm just starving, come on let's go in". She grabs my hand and I follow inside.

I wonder what's wrong with her. She just seems so different, maybe it's from today at recess.

CRYSTAL'S POV

I can see the way she looks at him, the way she looks deep into his eyes when they talk. Why does this make me jealous? Why do I feel like they both like each other?

I may just be over thinking things but it makes me feel sour. Why does it hurt to see the one you like, like someone who isn't you?

I have to find out what's going on between them somehow, I just don't want to seem suspicious or weird. I can't hold onto this feeling any longer, I need to puzzle all of it up.

ANGELIQUE'S POC

After we had our Subway, we made it to my house so I could introduce Crystal and Kian to my mother. She will definitely adore these two straight away, my mum will bring in any of my friends.

Walking into the door my mums sitting at the table looking through the weekly magazines and drinking a coffee.

"Oh who are these two lovely kids?" She looks up smiling.

"Kian and Crystal, meet my mother Tammy, Mother Tammy, meet my new friends Kian and Crystal." I show a huge smile.

My mother walks towards us and gives Kian and Crystal a small hug. "Nice to meet you both".

"Nice to meet you Tammy, your daughter is absolutely one of a kind friend" Kian looks at me and blushes. I smile slightly at him, but not to much where Crystal can notice.

"She definitely is" says Crystal. I smile at Crystal and she smiles back.

"Anyways, do use want to come watch a movie before you leave?"

"Yeah alright" Crystal and Kian say at the same time.

We walk into my bedroom and look on Netflix. We let Kian choose.

"Let's watch, Get Hard".

"I love that movie" I laugh.

"Met too, especially when they're in the stools and - " says Crystal before getting cut off

"Shhh I haven't seen it" Kian said in a rush.

KIAN'S POV

We were already close to an hour in Get Hard and I haven't stopped laughing. I couldn't help it but always look at Angelique when she laugh. Gosh she has a beautiful smile.

"Could you please hand us some blanket?" I asked Angelique as her and Crystal hogged it all.

Angelique laughs a little and passes me some blanket.

"Do you mind if I wrest my legs on you?" Angelique asks.

"No that's okay, don't try anything"

"Kian, stop it. Typical teenage boys" Angelique looks at me weirdly but not in a judgmental facial.

"I'm pretty sure she wouldn't ever try anything with you" said Crystal laughing.

"I was just joking anyways" I say as I shrug my shoulders and continue to watch the movie.

I feel something accidentally touch me underneath the blanket and it was Angelique's hand, she quickly moved it but I slightly moved my hand closer to hers. Moving my hand a bit closer everytime I ended up holding her hand but she let go.

ANGELIQUE'S POV

I had to let go, yes I want to hold his hand, yes it was under the blanket but Crystal was there. I don't want her to catch me liking him.
Things my seem hard now, but I know soon enough I need to release my feelings towards Kian.

If he tried holding my hand, then of course he likes me.. right?
I don't want to assume anything before I know it's true, I really hope it is though. I just wouldn't know how to tell Crystal.
