| CHAPTER EIGHT | The new girl

CRYSTAL'S POV

It's going to be hard to let my feelings go towards Angelique but I know it's for the best, for our friendship.
I know she likes Kian, he is the only guy the she talks to (that I know of). I can see the way he looks at her and the way she looks at him, they're meant to be.

It's hard seeing someone I like, like someone else because you know it won't ever be you, especially if they're straight and you're lesbian.

I've been thinking about telling Kian that Angelique and I have sorted our issue but I feel like she has told him already. If not then he can find out himself tomorrow.

This year I just want to stay out of the drama and the high school love triangles. I can't lose anymore friends, especially what happened in 7th grade.

ANGELIQUE'S POV

It's the next day at school, Wednesday. I've been more happy since yesterday and I'm proud of getting things straight with Crystal, now we can move on and not let anything worry us.

"Booo!!" Kian jumps out and scares the living daylights out of me, making me scream.

"You're a little shit Kian, your lucky I didn't smack you" I laugh while hiding my face into my hands.

"Nawww little Angelique wanna smack me, I'd like to see you try".

"Stop being mean Kian" Responding in a sulky voice.

"I forgot, did you sort things out with Crystal?"

"Matter of fact I did young man" I do a big grin.

"Hey guys!!" Crystal walks into school cheerfully

"Speaking of the devil" Kian says "Wassup Crystal"

"Hey Crystal, your cheerful this morning".

"I just feel amazing today" She giggles slightly.

We all walk to our first lessons and wait for the bell to go. As we were waiting, there was a girl sitting by herself, she looked lonely but I was unsure if I should go over there and see if she's okay.

"Guy's.... that girl seems lonely, we should go over there?" I look at Crystal and Kian with a unsure face expression.

"I'm not going over there" said Kian, he looks back at me.

"Come on Kian, we should go over there. Angelique is right, she does look lonely."

"Let's just go by ourselves Crystal" I get up and start walking and Crystal follows me, and then Kian yells out.

"Guy's, wait I'll come don't worry"

We laugh at him as he catches up.

"Hey, I'm Angelique. This Crystal and Kian" I point at Crystal and Kian as I introduce them.

"What's your name?" Crystal asks

"Ugh.." She looks down shyly "My name's Abigail, Abigail Waters."

"Why are you sitting by yourself" Kian ask, I look at him and nudge his arm a little.

"I mean, do you have any friends you can be around?" He changes what he said.

"No, I'm new to this school"

"Well get up and grab your bag, cause we're friends now" I say with a big grin on my face.

"Oh sure" Abigail laughs and starts walking to class with us, turns out she is in the same home class as Crystal and I.

Abigail seems so nice, she's really pretty as well. She has long black hair and green eyes, she's 5'6 ft and she has a good style in clothes. I'm glad we made a new friend.
