Sandali akong natigilan sa sinabi ni dad, anong ibig niyang sabihin doon? Wala naman siyang nababanggit sa akin tungkol sa bagay na yon.

"Can you enlighten me, dad? What do you mean if it weren't for him we wouldn't have a hospital? We all know that grandpa built that hospital."

"Yes, your grandfather built that, but three years after the hospital was built, nalugi ang hospital, and your grandfather's friend helped him to make the hospital more stable. In exchange of that, your grand father promised that if he had a grand son, and his friend had a grand daughter, the two will be married no matter what. Which is you and her."

Napahilamos na lang ang dalawa kong palad sa mukha ko. Dahil ako lang naman ang nag iisang apo ni lolo, dahil kahit na may kinasamang iba ang ama ko ay hindi naman nito ito inaakan. I guess I have no choice but to accept my fate.

"Fuck! Why did grandfather make such a decision. And I don't even know her? Dad, do you know who I am going to marry?" Frustrated kong tanong.

"You will meet her, on the day of your wedding." Huling sinabi nito bago umalis ng kanyang office at iwanan akong magisa.

"So, I'm actually going to marry a stranger, huh."
