Friend Zone (Ross Lynch/R5 fanfic)

Chapter 3

Skipping the party at Ross' place was probally the best for me. Jess and Rydel came over and we watched endless chick flicks it all started with A Walk To Remember and ended with The Notebook.

I rolled out of bed making sure not to step on Rydel who insists on sleeping on the floor for a strange unknown reason. She is so strange,much like the other Lynch's.

I pulled out a dress that was red plaid on top and black leather skirt bottom,  off the hanger in my walk in closet. I grabbed my black heeled ankle boots, and walked to the bathroom in my room. I turned on the hot water in my shower, and got in letting the water hit against my back. When I finished with my shower, I dried my hair, and left my hair in messy curls. I decide to wear my black fadora. Once I was to my liking I walked out and the girls were still asleep. I left a quick note saying I was going to walk to school, to clear my head and I would see Jess there. I walked down stairs and went to the kitchen to pour myself a cup of coffee, in my Hello Kitty travel mug, I poured in my french vanilla creamer and sealed the container. Once I walked outside I shoved my earbuds in blasting 'Kiss Me' by Lucy Hale, I started walking down the  side walk to school. I kept liping the words to the song to myself, and tapping my finger nails on my mug as I walked.

I then felt my body be turned around, and hit a chest. I looked up and saw that mop of blonde. "Kayla can we please just talk?" Ross finally spoke. I pulled out my ear buds and wrapped them around my phone and shoved it in my purse. 

"Speak" I started to walk towards the school again.

"I am sorry. I forgot about our plans for today/" I scuffed and mumbled some words. "What I couldn't hear you?"

"That was the point,  but just for you. I said it hasn't been the first time." I finally gave him a whole sentence.

"Dammit." I then didn't feel Ross by me anymore I turned around and saw him on the ground holding his ankle.

"ROSS!?" I ran over to him, I knelt down to him. "What happened?" 

"I tripped over the crack." he tried to hide his tomato red face. I just bursted into fits of laughter. He gave me a skeptical look.

"I love you, you know this. It is usually me who trips." I giggled. "Now you are  here and it's my turn to laugh" He softly glared at me.

"haha. Very funny." I nodded.

"It is." I grabbed his ankle, and he quickly flinched. "How bad did that hurt" he bit his lip

"It hurts pretty bad."

"Alright your going to hopp we are not far from school." I said. I draped his arm over my shoulder. "Jess should be at school already."

"I love you Gee" I rolled my eyes.
