"Ross Shor Lynch" my shouting coursed down the halls of our high school. "Put me down now" I was currently over his shoulder my body limp, and my arms punching his back, He was running down the halls breezing past everyone with no remorse or sincerity.

"And we are here." He sat me down on in the line for food. I punched his upper arm, "Ow that hurt!" he pointed to the pain, I smirked in victory. "Have you been working out Laa?" He slung his arm over my shoulder.

"Only when you drag me to the gym with you." I sneer at him. I hated going to the gym I would much rather eat pizza and lounge out with Riker, Ross' oldest brother.

"Oh Gee, a little exercise won't kill you." As he says this I place my hand over my chest, in mock hurt and gasp.

"It's like you don't even know me." I piled a bag of cheez its and a sobe water on my tray, ignoring the food that they were actually serving except for the fries and burger I placed next to my other choices.

"How do you do it?" I gave him a confused look as I handed three dollars to the lady at the cash register.

"How do I do what? " I ask with cooked eyebrow, as we reach the cashier.

"Hi, Kayla and Ross." Ms. Rayne spoke. She is one of the only facility here that I absolutely love.

"Hey Ms. Rane, how are you today?" I ask, she smiled.

"I am great, so Ross have you asked her out yet?" my face blushed at her question. "but you guys seriously are the cutest." My face flushed a deeper Crimson. There was nothing more than to have my best friend as my boyfriend too, I mean isn't that the way it supposed to be? Your significant other being your best friend?

"Sorry, Ms. R" he smiled " Kayla and I have been best friends since we were kids. "

There is those two words I hate.

"oh well you guys would be cute together. "

Just like they say in Frozen "Conceal Don't feel" Ross paid for his food and we walked to our usual lunch table.

"Anyways as I was saying how do you eat so much junk food and not grow an inch shorty." I glare at my best friend as we sat at the table.

"I will have you know I am 5'2 and that hardly dictates me being short. "

"Oh that's right it makes you a midget." he responds with a chuckle, glaring at him, I set my tray down, and sat by Jess. "So why do you think she asks us that same question almost everyday" Ross asked popping one of my fries into his mouth. I just shrugged my shoulders,"Besides it's super crazy to think about. You and me together?" I would rather not talk about it. "Oh guess I scored a date with?" he looks at Kyle with excitement.

"Who bro?" Kyle shares the same amount of excitement.

"Andrea Baker! " he nods his head up and down."Tomorrow, at eight O'clock"

"Awe yeah someone is getting laid!! "Kyle and Ross share a handshake.

"Excuse me, I will be back. Jess can I talk to you?" she nodded her head and grabbed her phone, she kissed Kyle's cheek and walked with me. "Ugh! I knew it I just freaking knew." I blurted out as we walked down the empty hallways, that may have a couple freshmen girls walking, laughing and giggling about some cute senior.

"So you talked to him?" Jess grabbed my wrist wanting to know every sorting detail. I scoffed in responce

"Not exactly." I sat down by my locker, she sat next to me.

"So what happened?" she looked at me with concerned eyes.

"You know how Ms. R every year asking Ross if me and him are actually dating hoping he would say yes every year?" She nods and tells me to continue "Usually he would just say no, and she would reply well you better snatch her up before someone else does." I covered my face with my hand,"You know what he said this time?" she shook her head of course she didn't she wasn't there. "He said that he only sees me as a best friend." I closed my eyes and brought in a sharp breath. "Why am I so stupid? Why am I so stupid enough to be in love with my best friend?" Jessica sighed.

"Kayla you are not stupid, you are just a little confused." she hugged my side. "and it sounds like to me Ross, still doesn't know how you feel you need to talk to him, right." she continued about how he is a boy, and boys are dumb and you have to tell them straight up because they are clueless when it comes to signs.

"That isn't going to help, you heard him 'can you imagain us dating, that would be weird' its a big joke" I spat out fast.

"Come on, the boys are probaly wondering where we are." she held out her hand to help me off the ground. I nodded my head cause I knew it was true.

"So, wanna see if Ry wants to go to the mall tomorrow after school?" I ask her, she linked her arm with mine.

"I thought you and Ross were going to the movies?" I shrugged my shoulders.

"He is going out with the pretty girl." I sneered.

"Andrea?" I snapped my fingers.

"Yep!"

"Wow, why is all of a sudden being different?" I shrugged. "It used to be you all the time, even before chicks." I sighed.

"I guess his little friend is more important." I said as we sat at the table.

"Who's little friend?" Ross butted in.

"Yours." I stated, before I grabbed my cheese its and Sobe. I threw away the rest of my tray and walked out. I was in no mood now. I sat down outside on the bench and pulled my iphone out and put my earbuds in my ears and let the music take me to another place. "And I don't know how it gets better than this, You take my hand and drag me headfirst, fearless,And I don't know why but with you I dance, In a storm in my best dress, fearless" I quietly sang to myself. I felt a light tap on my shoulder.

"Hey." I looked at the brown eyes of my best friend.

"What do you want Shor?" I was slightly irrtated by his coolness, probally I was already irrtated with him.

"Can you tell me what I did?" I shrugged my shoulders and stuck my headphones back in my ear. Ross pulled out one of the buds.

"Hey!" I grabbed the wire from his hand.

"You are really stubborn" he stated.

"Oh and I wonder who I learned that from, Mr. King of stubbornness himself!" I snapped back.

"Kayla!" he called after me as I walked away.

"What?" I gritted.I sound really bitchy I know. I have the right to be Friday nights are for us to be able to keep our friendship togther, with his music and shows, we do this for us and right now, I don't know why honestly. I know I am jealous, but still he is my best friend and he just skipped out on plans and it has happened now more than once and he doesn't even notice.

"What did I do" He grabbed my shoulders.

"I don't know?!" I paused and shook off his hands " Why don't you call the theatre to find out the times for the show, oh wait I forgot, your little buddy in your pants needs it's satisfaction!" I walked off with tears streaming down my face. I couldn't believe I was fighting with my best friend.

I quickly texted Rydel to come and pick me up, I needed out of here.

I am on my way boo. Zac Efron or Ryan Gossling

I grinned and replied. Both

I soon found myself at my locker looking for my homework, and placing them in my kilt bag before waiting outside.

Oh boy, that kind of day. I am here.(:
