Friend Zone (Ross Lynch/R5 fanfic)

Chapter 5

We had finally got to Ross' house so we could change. I decided to get changed into something else it was slightly chilly out.  I ran to Rydel's room. I walked in and saw Ellington on her bed. "Oh Hey Ell." I waved opening the top drawer in her room I pulled out a pair of dark skinny jeans.

"Hey Cookie Monster." I laughed, and grabbed a blue frilly tank-top and walked in Rydel's bathroom where she was in the shower.

"Hey Delly, it's just me. It got chilly so before Ross and I go  out we are getting dressed." I heard the shower head go off.

"Hand me the towel." i grabbed the towl off the rack and handed it to the wet arm sticking out of the curtain. She had comeout with towel wrapped around her. "Are you going to finally tell him?" she grabbed her robe.

"Dell. Please. I am Kayla. Not going to happen."  She shook her head at me.

"Kayla what am I going to do with you?" she was now in pj's.

"Love me unconditionaly" I smiled.

"You look cute, well I am off Ell and I are going to a movie then we are picking up Jess for our girls night." I slipped on some blue Keds.

"Okay. Ross and I are doing something then a movie. I am not sure what." i opened the door and walked to Ross' room. "Hey there." Ross was buckling up his belt. 

"Hey." Ross smiled at me and walked over to me. "You ready." he looked me up and down. I nodded. "Great!" he grabbed his keys and phone in one hand and my hand in the other. Damn these feelings. 

When we got to the movies we decided on a scary movie. Which was not my cup of tea, but you know 'if you love me you willl go see Frozen with me didn't work.' So instead I had my head in my bag of popcorn instead. I felt an arm around me. I looked up. "Oh now you feel bad?" I  barried my head in his arm when I saw a girl get her throat ripped out. 

I looked up and came face to face with Ross, when the movie ended. He stroked my cheek. "How can one look so beautful?" I rolled my eyes. 

"Ross. I-" I was cut off by a girl screaming Ross' name. We pulled apart slightly his hand was still in mine only this time they were linked, and his other arm around my waist. 

"Ross! I am such a huge fan." she smiled brightly, she looked over at me and smiled. "Awe are you his girl friend?"

"NU-" I started.

"Yeah, we have been dating since we were freshmen." my mouth dropped.

"You guys are super cute, what is your name?" the girl asked.

"I am Kayla." she gleamed.

"Ooh we could call you guys Kross!" she smiled. She pulled out her phone. "Can I take a picture with you guys. Ross and I looked at each other for a second. 

"Sure." Ross smiled at his fan. We posed in front of the phone and took a picture.

We were in the car, on our way home. "Oh before I forget next Friday  is the KCA's will you go as my date? I don't wanna go with a random girl, or have another co-worker. They always asume we will be together. Raia! Raura! Why can't it just be Ross or Kross" he winked at me and smiled. "Plus, I need my best friend by myside when I win, I need to thank her for everything. He glanced at my hands and squeezed them  and looked at me with hope in his eyes. Damn those sparkling brown eyes. He is a pain in my ass. Why do I always, fall for the eyes?

"Anything for you." I laughed. Ross smiled at me and intertwined our fingers. What exactly is he doing? I wanna just smack him and ask him why he keeps doing this to me, but on the other hand he doesn't know how I feel and I don't want this, as I mean the hand holding to stop. We reached to his driveway and I leaned in to give Ross a hug he hugged me  back tightly may I add. I turned kiss his cheek. That is when our lips touched. It wasn't a peck either, I mean maybe at first it was supposed to it was more of an actual kiss. We pulled away. "Oh my god I am so sorry." I ran out of his car and straight in to Riker's room. Riker was on the floor playing his guitar. I guess by the look of my face he could tell I needed him.
