Chapter 8

"Once again, I feel like an idiot." I paced in Rydel's room. I was explaining EVERYTHING  since the time I woke up.

"Oh Kayla don't say that." Rydel grabbed my shoulders to keep me from pacing. I walked to her bed and sat down.

"I just don't understand it. Ross everyday says. 'We are just friends' to everyone around. Then today he freaking kisses me like what the hell!" I screamed 'What the hell' 

"Kayla, like I said earlier. Boys are clueless. Take Kyle as an example." Jessica said with a sad tone. My head swivled to her.

"What the hell happened." I asked sort of pissed.

"I was walking to class when I saw him pressing Jennifer Witmore up on the wall kissing her." She shook her head trying to keep from crying. "And he thinks I'm clueless" I completely forgot what was going on. I walked out of the room straight to Rocky's room. 

"Hey one of you wanna drive me to Kyle's? Found out his dirty little secret, that broke Jess' heart." All three boys stood up we will all go. I walked back to Rydel's room and grabbed my converse.

"Where are you going?!?"  all three girls yelled.

"I warned him." was all that I said before I met the boys at Riker's car.

It was Monday again, today I was not in a mood for dressing up so I went in black leggings and 5 Seconds of Summer tank top crop top. my hair was in messy bun, and I had no make-up on. It was a plain day, and I was so okay with that. I plugged in my earbuds into my "Fault in Our Stars" iphone, and turned on some music. The first song that popped up was 'I Can't Fight This Feeling Anymore' the glee version. Hearing Cory's voice always brought tears to the brim of my eyes. He was one of my idols who had died. 

I slipped on my brown ugg boots and slung my purse over my shoulder. I descended down my stairs, and walked to the kitchen wear my mom was making breakfast. I grabbed a travel mug from the cabinet and poured some coffee. I fixed it to my liking and kissed my mom on the cheek."Love you mom." I bid her a goodbye and walked to my dad in the dinning room reading the news paper. "Good-bye daddy." I kissed the top of his head and walked outside in a cheery mood. I had thought about what had happened Friday. I mean I have been waiting for this day for four years, and it was finally here. So why did I resist on it the other day? I don't know myself. 

I continued walking down the sidewalks to the school, I needed the fresh air. I was happy listening to some 5 Seconds of Summer. The Song Heartbreak girl was on and I smile and continued walking and turned into the school parking lot. I noticed Ross' black pick-up. So I skipped to the doors, I walked down the empty halls not many people were here, just usually people who had sports games today so that was the Football players and the cheerleaders.

I turned to go to the library when I saw something something I should have never saw. I dropped my book making a loud thud in the hall. The couple turned. The one that I didn't wanna see turned to me. "Kayla." I quickly bent down and picked up my book and took off down the hall to go to the Auditorium instead, as I am running down the hollow halls I could hear him screaming my name, but I didn't stop. I ran as fast my short legs will carry me. I reached the doors and flung them open. I knew that Ross would be right behind me soon so I just went and sat on the stage, I grabbed the acoustic guitar by me and started to strum a song that Ross had taught me to play.
