"Alright, let me see if I got this right," Harrison started, "Seb and Keith are in charge of shelter, Emily and Mack are in charge of food, and Lance, Jacob, and Isabelle are in charge of being on lookouts for other teams?" He finished.

"That's right," I said, crossing my arms.

It was night and we were all in a huge tent, trying to figure out what we should do with this giant team of ours. I felt something drip from my forehead and I reached my hand to touch it. It was blood from the wound,

"Here," Harrison said, standing up and walking across the tent to get a metal box and handed it to me.

"Thanks," I opened it up and grabbed the cleaning cloths and gauze and placed the box down by my feet. I started unwrapping the gauze around my head and placed it in the bin. It stung when it was first exposed to the cold air and it hurt even more when I flinched. I felt another drop of blood trickling down my forehead. I felt Harrison grab the cloth that was next to me and gently wiped the blood. I smiled at him. I can't figure him out, one minute he's stubborn and demanding and the next minute he's sweet and helpful. I wrapped the new gauze around my head with Harrison's help. I looked at Keith and I could tell he was really angry, eyebrows furrowed, pursed lips, his eyes squinted and a little wrinkle above his eyebrows appeared whenever he was nervous or angry. And I doubt he's nervous.

I didn't feel like being in this position, so I got up and headed to my bed, "I'm a bit tired, good night guys," I said and wrapped myself under the blanket and closed my eyes.

I woke up to someone shaking me and screaming my name,

"Ava! Ava, wake up!" I heard a voice say. I started to open my eyes and saw Seb was the one shaking me.

"What?" I said tiredly and stretched my arms.

"Isabelle was in charge of look out and saw a team heading this way!" He said, grabbing some stuff from the table and stuffed it into an enchanted bag. I got up quickly, grabbing my stuff, making sure everyone was ready to escape. Everyone was already going west of the camp except Harrison and me,

"Come on! We have to leave! Now!" I said to him, gripping my wand tightly.

"Hold on!" He said, putting more stuff in his bag. I was getting ready to run, to leave him, but I couldn't leave a teammate behind.

"Hurry up!" I said as I heard sticks breaking in front of the tent. He rushed past me and I was right behind him, gripping my wand so tight that I thought it would break. We were about to make it out but a pair of hands grabbed my arms, pulling me back with another person pointing their wand at my throat. I let out a scream, the person's hands digging their nails into my skin. I saw Harrison turn back but also getting caught. I tried not to let go of my wand but the pain in my arms was unbearable.

"Well, well, well," I heard the person that was holding Harrison say, "Who do we have here?" He said as he walked closer to me, dragging Harrison along with him, "What are your names?" The person who was holding me pulled my hair and I let out a shriek. Another person dug their wand into the side of my rib,

"Let her go," Harrison mumbled, probably trying to stay calm.

"Protective of your little girlfriend, are you?" The one holding Harrison said.

"I'm not his girlfriend," I said defensively, trying to squirm out of the grasp the person had on me but failed and the wand pushed further into my rib.

"Oh, that must hurt, huh? Getting rejected," The one who was leading this group said, "I got rejected once before too, hurt like a brick, but she got what she deserved," He finished and the other guys snickered.
