The world doesn't exist when I'm near you,
Nothing does.
Your arms are safety nets,
Keeping me out of harm's reach.
Your shoulders for my head to rest,
Allowing me to forget everything.
Your smile bringing me in.
It's contagious.
I study your face,
Study it like I'll never see it again.
Your eyes are a riptide pulling me in.
Your lips are clovers, a perfect shape.
When they smile, oh God, I melt.
Being near you is my medicine,
My Excedrin.
And all the headaches of the world,
All those migraines disappear.
