and once again,
we are here,
my fingers clenched
tightly around what's
left of my heart.
and once again,
it was shattered,
I know it's not
your fault, that
we were forced apart.
but once again,
every time I try,
that chunk of my
heart stays with you,
and won't come away.
and once again,
I vow to myself,
knowing I'll break
it, to never fall in love
again,
but I've thought about
breaking my body,
so I stop feeling
the pain in my heart.
