Chapter 8

Finn's Pov

Y/n and I get out of the pool, still smiling at our victory. We walk over to the pool loungers where our towels are and sit down, picking them up in the process to dry off. Y/n picks up her phone and goes onto twitter, presumably to tweet our victory just to rub it into the cast's faces that little bit more. I smile at her action and pick up my own phone. I then realize that now would be the perfect time to ask for her number. Should I even try? Like she would even give it to me, I haven't even known her for a full two days. Never mind, I guess I'll just go for it. "Hey Y/n." I say nervously. "What's up?" She asks, looking up from her phone and at my face. "Do you think I can get your number?" "Sure." She says and holds her hand out for my phone. I let go of a breath I didn't know I was holding. Wow, that wasn't that hard. Hey, look at me! Finn the ladies man. I give her my phone and she puts in her number and says, "Just send me a text so I'll have your number." I quickly send her a text that simply says 'Hey, it's Finn'.She looks up at me and says thanks with a smile then looks back down at her phone.

I smile to myself and put down my phone before looking back up again. Sadie is sunbathing on a couple of chairs over from the one Y/n and I are sharing and Gaten and Caleb are still in the pool. I look over to the lawn next to the pool to see Millie and Noah trying to get my attention. Once they see that they've got it, Noah starts trying to act something out. He makes a phone with his hand and mouths what I eventually recognize as 'Did you get her number?'. I nod and mouth 'yes' and Millie then runs and jumps on Noah who stumbles back a bit but then joins her in jumping up and down and dancing some kind of victory dance. I roll my eyes at them with a smile and direct my focus back to Gaten and Caleb who were currently trying to get on the pool floats.

Gaten succeeds and gets on top of the unicorn and starts rubbing it in Caleb's face which results in Gaten receiving the middle finger. After Gaten rubs it in a bit more he relaxes on the pool float and closes his eyes leaving Caleb to continue struggling to get onto the pizza float. Sadie then sits up and asks me if we have any plans for the rest of the night. I reply with, "I'm not sure but I don't think we do. Ask Millie, you know she runs this house." She chuckles and walks over to the lawn where Millie and Noah are lying down and after a brief conversation between the three, Millie, Sadie and Noah stand up and walk over to the pool's edge.

"Is everyone up for pizza and camping outside tonight. The fire pit is fixed and we can bring out those camper mattresses again." She says. "Hell yeah!" Y/n and I reply at the same time. We look at each other and laugh with a slight blush on both of our cheeks. Everyone else replies with a 'yes' obviously and makes their way over to the pool loungers. Everyone drys off and sits around the pool lounger that Y/n and I are sharing. We share jokes and stories and tell Y/n about what it's like being on set and what to expect and this continues until Caleb realizes the time.

"Oh shit, guys it's almost 7. We should probably start setting up for tonight before it gets dark." Says Caleb. "Oh ok yeah. Everyone go upstairs have showers and get changed and stuff and then meet in the kitchen and we can start setting up!" Millie says excitedly. Everyone starts making their way upstairs to the sound of Caleb and Gaten fighting over who gets to shower first and Sadie looking smug knowing that she has a bathroom to herself.

Y/n's Pov

I step out of the bathroom in my pajama shorts and an over sized jumper that I bought in a men's large so it would be extra comfy. Millie is sitting on the floor next to her bed waiting patiently for me. "Finally! Took you long enough." She says and I roll my eyes. "Let's head downstairs!" She grabs my hand and we run downstairs, just as excited as each other. When we get to the kitchen everyone is there except Noah who is still in the shower. Millie starts to get everyone's attention and I walk over to Finn who is leaning against the breakfast bar. "Hey." He says with a smile that makes me weak at the knees. "Hi." I reply smiling right back at him. "You excited for tonight?" He asks. "Definitely, I haven't been camping in so long and this is as close as it gets so I'm super pumped." "Yeah me too, It'll be awesome!" He says, full of excitement. We laugh together until Noah finally enters and Millie starts to speak.

"Ok guys listen up!," She says, "So the plan is that we grab those camper mattresses from last year and set them up outside and just take our duvets and pillows from our own beds upstairs. Let's have Y/n, Caleb and Sadie upstairs grabbing people's duvets and pillows and Gaten, Finn and Noah grabbing the mattresses. I'll go grab the fire starters and some logs and start setting up the fire. Let's go guys!" Everyone leaves the room and I catch up with Sadie and Caleb on the stairs. We work out that Caleb will get Gaten and his own bed sheets, Sadie will get hers and Noah's and I'm getting my own as well as Millie's and Finn's. We split up at the top of the stairs and I make my way to my room and grab Millie's bed sheets then mine and take them downstairs to the lawn next to the fire pit where we are sleeping tonight. The boys haven't brought out the mattresses yet so I put our bed sheets on the ground. I run back upstairs, almost knocking over Sadie and Caleb on their way down and walk to Finn and Noah's room. I hesitantly open the door and walk inside the room. There are two beds, one with navy blue and white striped sheets and one with dark grey sheets. There are a couple of posters and photos around of the boys and their family, friends and the rest of the cast. I can tell which bed is Finn's because his guitar is right next to it. 

I walk over to his bed with the dark grey sheets and start folding up the duvet. I can smell his scent all over the duvet, a musky smell that is kind of sweet. I want to stay like this forever, wrapped in his scent. I finish folding the duvet and grab his pillow and put it on top of it. I'm about to pick it up before I notice his guitar again. I put the sheets down and walk over to the guitar, carefully picking it up and lightly dragging my fingers over it. I sit on the bed and begin to play 'Where is my Mind' by Pixies. I gently sing the lyrics and get through half the song before I notice someone standing in the doorway. I quickly stop playing and stand up before noticing the mysterious figure is Finn. "Oh hey, sorry I shouldn't have touched it, I'll take your sheets down now." I say embarrassed. "I actually came up here to grab my sheets so it's ok, I'll do it. And don't worry about it, you're pretty good." "Oh thanks but I'm not that good, I only know a couple of songs and I just like messing around really." I say. "Oh ok, we should play together sometime. Let's head downstairs and start setting up shall we?" He says. "Yeah ok." I say, grabbing his sheets only for them to be taken out of my hands by Finn and we make our way downstairs together.
