Chapter 6

Millie's Pov

Let me give you a quick run down of Noah and I's plan. We are planning on pushing the two closer by making them sit together, becoming partners for certain tasks etc. This will hopefully help them develop a better relationship between each other. Eventually they will either realize that they both have feelings for each other and get together or we will tell both of them that they like each other and to sort their shit out. Now, back to real life and out of my head!

"Do you think we should each talk to one of them?" Noah asks. "Yeah, I think we should tell them to be brave and and become friends with each other at the least." I reply. "Ok, I'll go talk to Finn and you go find Y/n." "Ok." I say and we stand up and head inside. We get to the kitchen to find that Caleb is the only one there, eating his breakfast. "Morning sleepyhead," I say as we enter, "where's Y/n and Finn?" "Hey guys, um I think Finn's in 'his' living room and Y/n is in the basement with the others. "Ok thanks!" Noah and I walk out of the kitchen and part ways at the stairs. "Goodluck." Noah says as he walks down the hallway to 'Finn's' living room.

I walk down the stairs to the basement to find Sadie doing a live and Gaten and Y/n in a really intense game of Foozball. Sadie then looks up and notices me in the door frame. "Oh, Millie! Come join my live." At the mention of my name everyone looks up. "Oh I can't sorry, I actually came here to grab Y/n," I say to Sadie politely, "If that's ok with you Y/n?" I look over at her. She nods and says "Of course." She gets up and walks over to me and we walk outside together.

"So, what did you and Noah get up to this morning?" Y/n says, wiggling her eyebrows. "Ew, no! Y/n stop!" Me and Noah? I think I might throw up thinking about it. "Noah is my best friend I don't think I could ever think of him that way. Blah, I taste vomit." "Ok, ok I'll stop." She says laughing. "Thanks but back to the subject of relationships. I wanted to talk to you about Finn." She goes to say something but I hold up my hand, telling her to stop talking. "So you like him right? Why don't you talk to him? If you ever want a relationship to happen you've got to at least try. Start with a friendship and see if it goes anywhere. If it does, that's great and if it doesn't, at least you guys are still friends!  C'mon Y/n, you gotta get in there!" "I've tried Mills, he sat with me this morning at breakfast and I tried to have a normal conversation but it ended in him running out of the kitchen to god knows where." "Why did he run out of the kitchen?" "I don't know, I probably heard him wrong so it doesn't even matter." "Y/n, what did he say?" "It was nothing, I promise." "It was obviously something if he ran out of the room but if you don't want to tell me it's fine. All I really care about is you trying again to be friends." "Ok, ok fine." I clap excitedly and she rolls her eyes and laughs.

We walk inside and start heading for the basement when we walk into Finn and Noah. "Hey guys! Why don't you two head down to the basement, I just need to tell Noah something real quick." I say. Finn and Y/n agree and head downstairs. "How did it go?" I ask Noah. "Great, what about you?" "Fabulous, soon enough our ship will be sailing." I say excitedly and with that we  walk down to the basement.

Noah's Pov 

I part ways with Millie and walk down the hallway to 'Finn's' lounge room. We call it 'Finn's' lounge room because it isn't really his but he uses it as his space where he can be totally alone. None of us are quite sure what's in there since no one is aloud in. I walk up to the 'KEEP OUT' sign hanging on the door and knock loudly three times. "Who is it?" I hear from the other side of the door. "Noah." I say. I hear something moving around inside the lounge and a second later the door is opened then closed and Finn is now standing in front of me. He opened the door so fast I didn't even get a peek into his lounge room. "What's up?" he asks. "Nothing, I just wanted to have a chat." "Ok, do you want to head up to our bedroom?" "Sure." I say and we head up stairs.

Once we are both comfortably sitting on our beds Finn attempts to make small talk but I quickly shut him down. "Listen Finn, I just wanted to talk to you about Y/n." Before you leave again and tell me to stop teasing you I'm not. I just wanted to tell you to get to know Y/n and figure out if you have feelings for her and if you do it just might develop into something and if not then at least you guys know each other. Just give it a go? For your own sake." "I would Noah but I did something stupid this morning and I'm pretty sure she hates me." "What did you do..." I say hesitantly.

Finn's Pov

I then told Noah all about how I call Y/n cute which is definitely my lowest moment in this house. "Are you serious?" he says. I nod my head sadly. "That's great Finn! It's the start of showing her how you feel." "R-really?" I say shocked. "Yes definitely, now let's go downstairs. You've gotta work on that friendship." He replies. We get up and start heading down stairs when we bump into Millie and Y/n at the top of the stairs to the basement. I blush a little knowing that Noah and I were just talking about her. We stand there for half a second more before Millie speaks up. "Hey guys! Why don't you two head down to the basement, I just need to tell Noah something real quick." She says. Y/n and I both agree and start heading down the narrow staircase. Our hands brush against each others gently and I look down, blushing. I'm too busy to worry about my own face to notice that Y/n's is doing the same. We reach the bottom of the stairs and we both look over at the beanbags at the same time and notice that there is only one left free. She looks over at me and says, "I'll race you Wolfhard." "It's on Y/l." I say and we start running to the other side of the basement. She beats me by only a few centimeters and plops down on the bean bag saying "Sucked in." I look at her disappointedly and say "Can we share?" "Nope." She says with a proud smile. I look at her again with my best puppy dog eyes. "Ugh, fine." She shuffles over and I plop down next to her. I look at her with a big smile and she tries her best to look annoyed but eventually gives up and smiles back at me. We sit there, smiling at each other and that is when I realize that sooner or later this girl will become my crush.

New chapter! It's starting to get interesting, I'm excited to find out what happens. I'd like to dedicate this chapter to aishlynnteresa_ for nagging me everyday at school to update. Sorry that this chapter took a bit longer than chapters usually do!
