Chapter 011

A/N Just in case you didn't know, Y/n/n stands for 'Your Nickname'

Y/n's Pov

We've finished breakfast and packed up all our stuff outside. We decided to do a rehearsal without our scripts since tomorrow is our first day on set and as you can imagine, I'm freaking out big time. Millie reassures me that I'll be fine and that everyone is super nice so I should stop worrying because I'm being silly. We are in the living room and have pushed all the furniture to the edges of the room and have renamed the room the 'rehearsal space'. "Ok so we're doing scripts down because we should all know our lines for at least the first episode." Says Caleb who is in charge of this rehearsal. My character is only introduced halfway through the episode so I sit on one of the couches by myself since the first scene is of all six of them in Mike's basement, the boys playing Dungeons and Dragons and Max attempting to teach Eleven things about school. They get partway through the scene before realizing that Mike's mum comes in and interrupts them. "Y/n do you mind playing Karen for this scene?" Asks Caleb. I, of course, agree although I am still extremely nervous. I stand up and walk out of the room, the doors marking the bottom of the stairs to the basement. After taking a few breaths in attempt to calm myself down I walk into the living ro- sorry, 'rehearsal space', put on my Karen Wheeler face and being to say her lines.

We've gotten halfway through the episode and after a few adorable Mileven moments, including a hug that will become a kiss when the episode is actually filmed, we have come to a heated argument between Dustin and Lucas about Max and Lucas's relationship. Sadie, Noah and Finn are on one couch and Millie and I are on another. All of a sudden I get a text from Finn. I look up at him with a questioning look and he smiles and winks at me which causes me to blush. I open up the text conversation.

Finny Boy: I'm so boreddddd. Like I get why we do this but I can list 100 different things I could be doing right now that would be more entertaining than this.
Y/n/n: Oh yeah, like what?
Finny Boy: Well for starters, I could be hanging out with you.

You look up at Finn who looks like, wait, could it be? Is he blushing? He looks up at me so I quickly look back down and type my response.

Y/n/n: You've got a point Wolfhard. We could be swimming, watching a movie, having a jam session, etc. etc.
Finny Boy: Exactly. Also when Caleb is working he gets super serious and isn't any fun. All he says is guysssss pay attention.
Y/n/n: *puts on really serious boss voice that doesn't sound anything like Caleb's* Do you want to make a fool of yourselves tomorrow?
Finny Boy: Matt, Ross and Shawn would be very disappointed in you right now.

Finn and I start giggling at our phones which Millie notices and whispers with a smirk on her face, "What are you guys giggling about?" I'm about to respond but Caleb interrupts us, "I'm sorry to interrupt this little giggle fest but Gaten and I are in the middle of a really tense scene and your giggling is extremely distracting." After that Finn and I burst into a full on laughing fit which angers Caleb even more. "It seems that only some of us are taking this seriously so maybe we need a break to help certain people concentrate. 15 minutes everyone and let's hope that after that everyone is on the same page when we get back." Caleb walks out of the room, attempting a calm walk but we all see his hands are clenched into a fist. Slowly everyone starts moving out of the room off to various places and leave Finn and I to get over our laughing fit.

We eventually do and Finn stands up and says, "Oops." Which makes me chuckle. "We better head out for break, we've only got 10 minutes left according to Mr McLaughlin." he adds and we walk out of the room laughing. We first head to the kitchen and Finn grabs a packet of Doritos and then we head to the basement which is surprisingly empty. Finn and I walk over to the beanbags and sit down on one each. We sit like this for a couple of minutes until I complain of not being able to reach the Doritos so he shuffles over and pats the spot next to him on his beanbag and I stand up and sit on the beanbag next to him, blushing over how close we are. We sit on the beanbag for the remaining time of the break, eating Doritos and scrolling through Instagram and Tumblr, occasionally showing each other something funny.

The rest of the rehearsal I am acting in most scenes so I don't have anytime to text Finn but I did get to be in a couple of scenes with him which was fun. This whole thing has been so surreal and something I'd thought I'd never do. Having a part in my favourite and hugely popular TV show seems only a dream and if someone told me I would be doing this a year ago I would have laughed at them. This has been one hell of an experience so far and it's barely started.

It turns out Sadie is actually a really amazing cook and she made us all a really delicious red curry for dinner. "This is so good Sadie!" I exclaim as I start pigging out on the delicious meal. "Thank you so much! Most people don't know that I have a passion for cooking." She replies. After she finishes a huge mouthful of curry, Millie says, "Yeah she's amazing at cooking, you should have tasted the pasta she made for us last year. She turned something so simple into something so incredible I drool every time I think about it." "I'm looking forward to trying it one day!" I say, excited to eat this pasta that everyone seems to love. Once we have finished eating, Gaten and Sadie volunteer to wash up and the rest of the cast head down to the basement to pick a movie to watch.

It's 11:00pm by the time we decide on a movie which ended up being Top Gun with the amazing Tom Cruise. We start the movie with popcorn and blankets, the cast spread across couches and Finn and I on the floor leaning against a couch. At first we keep our distance, still feeling awkward after this morning but we end up with my head on his shoulder and his head on top mine. Around halfway through the movie my eyes start to droop and I begin to slip into unconsciousness, once again on Finn's chest.

Finn's Pov

We are just over halfway the movie when I notice Y/n has fallen asleep on me. I smile to myself and put my arm around her. Soon after I find myself falling asleep on the floor of the basement next to her, not even upset that I'll miss the end of the movie.

Millie's Pov

Noah and I are watching Y/n and Finn who seem to have fallen asleep with each other again which is extremely cute a looks mildly uncomfortable. We're 10 minuets away from the end of the movie and I find myself slowly drifting off. Shit, I'm not going to make the end again.

Noah's Pov

Millie and I are watching Finn and Y/n when I notice she's fallen asleep on me. No one knows this but I secretly have a huge crush on her. My smile is as big as it's ever been.

What is this? 2 chapters in 2 days? It's a miracle! It seems like I've found my motivation again guys! I also just feel really bad for not updating in a month so here's another chapter! Finn and Y/n are getting close and Noah and Millie had a little moment at the end there. I hope you enjoyed!
