Chapter 11: Phoenix POV

After Winter runs me out of the kitchen I head down to the music room to get some work done that I have been meaning to catch up on all week, I hate composing music for other people but hey it pays the bills and I don't have to preform anymore unless I want to, I play piano and guitar, I love both but piano pays the bills while the band is just for me and the boys.

I keep trying to compose a gingle for an advertisement but all I can see is Winter eyes in my head, her hand as she slowly wrapped her fingers around mine, trying so hard to have trust in me she so strong just like Zeek said but she has no idea the affect she having on us and if Mike found out well he may very well kill us.

I run my hand though my hair pulling it a little in flustation as I said anouther finished peace off to god knows where before checking the app on my phone to find out how my little bug is doing it says she in the pool room and has been there for a good while now.

I shut my email address down and pull up the camra feed to find her in the hot tub but somethings wrong shes stiff as a board and she holding onto the sides shit.

I run as fast as I can to the pool room, she still laying in the hottub her skin is bright red and the water seems hotter than it should be, shes looking me right in the eyes there is so much fear there I pick her up the water is scolding there is no way it should be that hot.

I look down at her she seems to be locked up not moving her muscles tight and tears running down her face what the fuck do I do.

I pull out my phone and ring Mike.

"Hello," he asnswers on the fist ring.

"Mike somethings wrong with Winter its like her muscles or something are locked up and she can't move she looking at me crying what the fuck do I do?" I say panic is running through my vains as I watch her.

"Ok did you move her?" he says and I say yes, " Ok put me on speaker, Winter blink once for yes and twice for no."

"She blinked once," I answered for her.

"Ok is it like the last time?" he says and she blinks once.

"Yes," I say quickly.

"Is the pain a ten, and can we move you again yet?" he says.

"She blinked yes for the first one and no for the second," I answer again.

"Right you need to run to my room, on the desk is a lock box the key is on the top of wardobe there are two different syridges in there get one of each and inject them into her ok," he says as if its that simple, "You need to do this shes in a lot of pain and you need to help her."

"Ok," I whisper as I look down at her pained expression.

"I'm coming Winter as fast as I can, go now," he shouts, I leave the phone with Winer as I run out of the pool room door.

I run up the stairs and crash through the door and onto our landing before crashing through Mike's I grab the things I need before running back down to the pool.

"Shit, shit I can do this, I can," I breath before picking the phone up.

Mike talks me quickly through how to inject and where is safe before I do it as soon as the second injection is in she sags a little.

"Ok done," I say and take a sigh, "What now."

"She will pass out in the next ten mintues then take her to the living room, I will be there in twenty just keep and eye on her until I get there," he says before putting the phone down.

I run my fingers softly though Winters hair until she fanily closes her eyes and her whole body seems to relax I pick her up and carry her to the living room and half way there I stoped dead in my tracks I can feel the scars on her back rasied lines, it makes me sick and fucking pissed that someone could do this to her, how could they hurt my little bug.
