Okay, so this is the sequel to 'stepbroher'. I have a few ideas for this book but per usual, I am open to any suggestions or ideas. I hope this book goes as far as the first one, which I am beyond grateful by the way.

I know you're here to read the book so I'll let you right into that.

Six months prier

Jessica

I went with Jacob and his mom to drop him off at the airport. Despite my eyes wanting to close for more sleep, I fought against if because I wanted to go in the airport with him. The car ride was silent, Jacob had his earbuds in, the only thing to be heard was the patterns of his mom and my breathes. I kept my eyes fixated on the passing cars and trees keeping my thoughts out of mind because I knew if I thought too much of this I wouldn't want to go in and later on regret it.

It tooks us twenty minutes to get to the airport. We drive through the gate and his mom paid for the ticket. We pulled up to a man in a tux, we got out and I helped Jacob with his bags while his mom left the driver door open for the man to park her car. She yawned as he drove away in her car but once she saw us she put on a warm yet tired smile. Jacob interlaced his hand with mine, keeping his luggage in tow as I wore his carry on. We walked to his mom then began our way inside the airport.

His mom got in line to purchase the paper ticket and two passes. Jacob and I sat down in the chairs, still not saying anything. Why can't I say anything? Seriously, just open your mouth and make words! But apparently my brain couldn't function because we still continued to sit in silence. His hand was still laced with mine as it sat in my lap. I grabbed my phone to check the time; he had an hour before he departs.

I let out an aggravated sigh, sliding it into the pocket of my hoodie. I let out a yawn and turn to face Jacob, seeing that he is already staring at me with a smile forcing to tug at the corners of his lips.

"What?" I question, furrowing my eyebrows.

"Nothing," he shrugs, "Just admiring you in case I get into a crash and die." A playful smile dances on his lips indicating that he is clearly joking.

"Totally not funny Jacob!" I couldn't help but want to laugh too.

"Oh come on, one of us had to say something."

"Out of everything you could've said, you decided to say that?" I question his logic.

"Well yeah, I have to save the cheesy shit for later." He smirks, but then smiles. I feel a small smile tug at my lips as I look at my feet.

He lazily throws his arm around my shoulder and pulls me into his chest, kissing the top of my head. His mom soon returns with the three papers and a fake smile plastered on her face, hiding the fact that she's sad. Jacob stands up, grabbing his luggage and holding his hand out for me to take. I accept the offer and lace my fingers with his and begin walking to security check.

Once we get through security we have half an hour before he leaves so we decide to stop by Starbucks and get coffee seeing that it is almost three fifteen. Our name is called and we take our coffee in hand as we walk to his gate.

He sits down in the chair waving his hand at me, gesturing for me to sit next to him. I obliged and sat next to him while placing my headphones in my ears, trying to drown out all the possibly crazy scenarios that can happen while he's on the airplane or on tour.

After the fourty minutes pass Jacobs flight is called and we stand up. His mom is the first to give him a hug, tightly closing her eyes trying to prevent the tears wanting to fall. Jacob wraps his arms around his mom, rubbing her back in an attempt to comfort her. After a good five minutes pass, his mom wipes her eyes as she pulls away and sniffles.
