A majority of the people from the party left after a couple of hours. Emma, Justin, Jacob, Maya, Adrian, and Brandon stayed after and we just hung out. Justin also asked out Emma that night, in which she happily accepted. Now, I guess all we really need is to find Adrian a girl then the group is complete.

Emma stayed the night with me after everybody left seeing the fact that we didn't have school the next day. We mainly watched movies and ate junk food. I guess you could say I really needed this whole party and to hang out with my friends for a few hours.

For the longest time, I've felt kind of powerless, not being able to control what happens in my life. I've acted mainly out of anger, towards my dad and everyone else. Maybe even Jake. Most times I wish I could take everything I've done back. Spend more time with Jake before everything happened. Spend more time with my mom. Spend more time with my dad rather than getting in trouble with cops and teachers.

I want to be able to control my own life. And now that I have my grades up, I'm not always in trouble, my Bestfriend is Emma instead of Ali. Who was expelled for blowing off her boyfriend in the bathroom. I'm dating a guy who cares about me, rather than a guy who only wanted me for one thing then treated me like shit when I refused. I've strayed away from the pot heads and started hanging out with people who are good for me.

I actually feel in control of my own life for once, and I like the feeling it gives me.

As of now, it's Monday. Also the last week of school. Emma and I walked through the corridors with arms linked. She was my literal Bestfriend, the sister I wished I had but never did.

We get to our lockers and grab the things we need. You'd think teachers would stop giving out assignments knowing nobody will never actually do them, especially on the last week of school. After grabbing our things. Emma and I met up with the guys who were standing at their lockers. Brandon and Justin stood there talking about basketball.

"Hello." I said with a cheery smile. The boys looked at each other then at me, laughing.

"What's got you all happy?" Justin asked with a chuckle. I playfully rolled my eyes before striding over to Brandon.

"Am I not allowed to be happy?" I joked.

"Of course you are babe it just took us a by surprise, that's all." Brandon kissed the side of my head as he wrapped his hands around my waist.

Emma hugged Justin and he wrapped his arm around her I don't think either of us thought this would happen, but we aren't complaining.

The bell rang signaling it was time to go to class in which we said our goodbyes and went off in different directions. Since Emma and I have the same class, we walked in together. Taking our seats, we ignore everyone else and began talking amongst ourselves.

"How are you and Brandon doing?" She asks with a smirk. I roll my eyes playfully as I sat back in my seat.

"We're fine. He's been really sweet." I smiled. I heard Emma giggle and I laughed.

"Your turn, how are you and Justin? He kissed you yet?" I asked her, wiggling my eyebrows.

"No, he hasn't kissed me. And we're actually going to the movies after school." She blushed.
