Ice Skating-Host

  A.N. Here's day 9 of Ego Christmas! Hope you enjoy!

Ice skating always looked like fun. You would've loved to try it someday. Too bad there was a problem with that. One problem was that you didn't have anyone to skate with. You know that sounds like a stupid excuse, but ice skating would be more fun if you weren't doing it alone. The second problem, you weren't that good at it in the first place. You would fall and make a fool out of yourself almost every time you tried to ice skate. You wanted to ask the egos but they were either busy or they would probably make fun of you. Asking Dark and Wilford was out of the question too. Wilford would probably end up murdering somebody and Dark would probably skate with so much grace that he would probably skate and just end up leaving you in the middle of the rink on the ice. You decided to just forget about ever doing that.

Sitting on the couch, you were flipping through channels trying to find something on TV. You heard someone enter the room and glanced out of the corner of your eye to see Host standing in the doorway.

"Oh, hello Host. How are you doing today?"

"The Host enters the living room and answers (y/n)'s question by saying he is fine. The Host then asks (y/n) is they are okay."

"I'm just bored out of my mind. I don't know what to do today."

"The Host asks (y/n) if they would like to go ice skating since it seems they've always wanted to do that."

Widening your eyes you looked at Host and blinked repeatedly. "How did you know I wanted to ice skate?"

Host smiles warmly at you. "The Host knows many things that are better left unknown."

"Oh, well, I have always wanted to go ice skating. Did you want to do it with me?"

"The Host says that he would be honored to."

"Okay, then let's go to the rink."

Putting on your jacket you grabbed Host hand and started to walk to the ice rink. It was a nice calm and quiet walk since there was hardly anyone outside. The only sound you heard was the Host's narrations. Making it to the ice rink you got both of your ice skates and went to put them on. While putting yours on you turned toward Host.

"I just want to tell you right now that I'm not that good at skating."

"The Host tells (y/n) that they do not have to be good to do anything. As long as they try."

Not knowing how to respond you start to get up to enter the rink.

"Um, hey Host, are you ready?"

Host nods his head and quietly get up to stand next to you. You both enter the rink and Host gently grabs your hand and starts to pull you with him. Skating around the rink you looked around and stared in amazement.

"This is amazing! I've never skated with someone before!"

Host smiles at your comment and slowly starts to spin in a circle with you. Laughing loudly, you closed your eyes and enjoyed the moment. After Host slowed down and stopped altogether you looked up at him and smiled.

"Thanks for skating with me Host. A lot of the others were too busy to."

"The Host tells (y/n) that it was no problem at all and that Host would be glad to do it again."
